Help make Blizzard step-up to the plate and make ninja looting a violation. If you didn't know it isn't at the moment.
What... QQ more please.
You do know that some peices of gear are Bis for some toon classes and they wear plate right? Pallys use leather and mail at some points as there better then plate and warriors use leather at times due to stats.
Sounds like you lost a roll to someone that has the same equall right to the gear as you do.

I think he is talking about people needing on (offspec) gear or just needing anything in general when they don't necessarily need it, in a group loot system.
First of all the only time the group loot option should be used is in dungeons or guild runs in which you can trust every one. Other than that, master looter should always be used. But if the master looter in ninjaing the loot than he can just be reported for it and he could most likely get that gear taken away from him. I have never personally been victim to a ninja but it would bother me. Not enough to have them suspended though. Its not that big of a deal.

Maybe they could do something about the people decked in full 264/277 who roll need in 5-man heroics, just to vendor items which the less-geared group members could have actually used. I run 5 daily heroics a day, and I probably see this happen on average 2-3 of those 5 runs. People are so greedy...

Blizzard have already changed their stance on ninjalooting, so I don't see the point of it. If you're worried about a ML potentially ninjaing an item, have the raid leader spell out loot details in raid chat (ie. item xyz is reserved, nothing reserved, etc etc).
If the ML still ninjaloots after that, you can petition a GM to have the perpetrator temporarily banned. I can't remember if the item is removed from him as well.

If you are talking about ninjaing in 5mans then who cares? Just take your emblems and buy gear. If you are talking about in raids, then where's the master looter? I was in an ICC25 pug where the RL ninjaed Deathbringers will. A few of us put a ticket in. 48 hours later the winning roller got the loot and the ninja copped a 3 day ban.

Because your link definitely looks safe...considering your posting credibility.
Oh wait you have none. Get some rep with the Wowhead Forum and try again.

Really, QQ more. I'm not a fan of this "open roll" garbage, anyway. I do raids and heroics with my friend to get her tanking gear for her tank set in between farming her mats for the crafted gear; if that means I (as tank myself) have to roll "need" on a tanking piece and claim it's an upgrade for ME, then give it to her, to prevent some scrub I don't know from getting it on a random roll, then so be it.

lol I find it funny you thinking some online petition is going to do anything, and this is nowhere near comparable to the RealID stuff on the forums.

There are three points I need to make before I lock this thread:
Since the only place to contact WoW's developers is through Blizzard's official forums, you'd be violating their forum rules, found
here
, by posting your petition there - which brings me to second point:
Blizzard has made it perfectly clear that they have no intention to make all forms of
ninja looting
against the rules. Knowing how you feel on this subject, you're probably not going to be happy about this. This is completely understandable, but you need to understand that if you're going to have any chance to try to change Blizzard's stance on this matter, making a petition is the least effective way.
In response to the last reply: The fact that you think of the responses to your thread as nothing more than free bumps tells me that you're not very open-minded to discussion from anyone who disagrees with you. That's never a good sign, no matter what subject it is.
By the way, I don't think anyone likes ninja looters any more than you do.
