Have there been any new pet classes confirmed or is it still the ones with have like wasp, cat, turtle, etc.

Garenzo
Pet classes are the same, but there are some new varieties of the current ones.
Mastiff hounds and foxes for the wolf family, big spiked crabs, a rare spawn Silithid who looks like Buru the Gorger (but blue), monkeys (who belong to the gorilla family, now renamed primate) etc...

Actually monkeys, foxes and the mastiffs are all part of their own families. Dogs, foxes and monkeys respectively.

Dogs and foxes belong to the wolf pet family, monkeys to the gorillas family. At least, that is I have been told.

Kind of a side note, will it be possible for a non-Worgen to get the mastiff the Worgen start with? I fear no, as Gilneas is phased out of existence, essentially.

Wrong?
Oh, that must have happened very recently. Nice to see though.
@Sephrain: Everyone can get mastiffs, both in the area around Gilneas and places like Western Plaguelands.

Thanks Garenzo, I was mad. I had a boxer who looked a lot like the mastiffs, I really want one to remember her by.

Your phrasing was still wrong.
Actually monkeys, foxes and the mastiffs are all part of their own families. Dogs, foxes and monkeys respectively.
Using the term 'respectively' means that the pets you indicated fall into the families you first indicated
in the same order
. So, you basically said that dogs belong to the monkey family, got foxes right, and that monkeys belong to the mastiff family. I imagine that's where mrfought's accusation of confusion came in.

I thought I remember reading a blue post that monkeys and gorillas were being merged into the Primate family...

It may have been wrong, but ( biggest mistake on the Internet) one would assume that a reader would have enough common sense to realise the relatively simple mistake and understand the point which I was actually trying to make.
Oh and also, that error would have meant that mastiffs belong to the monkey family not vice versa, as families were posted second and no such mastiff family actually exists.
