They kept walking through the plains, and soon the looming outline of the Tower could be seen in the distance. Robert exhaled, showing some signs of relief - "So, we just come inside the Tower, hand in the necromancer and say - hello there, we've stumbled upon a hive of rogue necro's, survivors need help and damn it bring us some ale?"

Morrowind tore off a piece of the still very hot meat and popped it in her mouth, swallowing it quickly despite the burns.
"Alright, let's go..." she nodded, climbing onto her nightsabre.
Character: Shiara
Location: Elwynn
"It's getting kind of late..." Shiara murmured back. "Maybe I should get going..."

"I promised that you are free to go whenever you want and I will keep my word."
Valentine looked Shiara in her eyes - "But are you sure you want to go?"

"You've encountered what?"
The watch captain shook his head in disbelief after Robert told him about their adventures. - "This will not be left unattended. Sergeant Wolfcastle!" - he called and immediately a fair-haired human sporting a glorious moustache came up to him.
"Yes, sir?"
"You've heard everything. Take two, no, three squads and head off to the village."
"Sir."
Wolfcastle saluted and paced out of the room while the captain turned back to the two - "I'll report to Stormwind immediately. While I'm waiting for response, I suggest you two get a rest in a tavern, while this fellow will be kept here - chained and thoroughly watched."

Vagrin bowed, once the others had left the room he turned back to the captain briefly, only two guards were present. "This were no simple deed, them necromancers were org'nised and even now they meybe listenin' in on us," said the dwarf, so all three of the men would hear. It did not matter if one of them was the enemy, after all they would already know if there was any truth behind what he had to say, the dwarf was just making sure they would be on their toes in case there was a traitor or the like in their midst.
He turned to leave along with Robert, "time ter take a nice drink an' a well deserved rest ey?" The dwarf had not drunk in quite some time and a fresh meal made the prospect of spending some time at an inn even better.

"I just want to get back home before the sun comes up," Shiara chuckled. "But I suppose I can stay a little later."

"Aye."
A sudden wind flipped Robert's longcoat, making it flow dramatically behind his back, only slightly hindered by the Wyrmbane. The gunman laughed satisfiedly - "The weather here knows a thing in scenic environment, mark my words." - as the duo approached the local tavern. With one smooth yet strong movement Rob swung the doors open and stepped inside, his heavy boots stomping with a loud echo against the wooden floor.

"Then let me show you our guest apartment."
Several minutes later the carpet brought them into a room, looking so Kaldorei that one might think it was situated in the main inn of Darnassus City, the one on the Craftsmen's Terrace, instead of a middle of Elwynn Forest. Valentine smiled - "I now can only thank James for his obsession with Isle of Teldrassil."

The dwarf followed suit, "so hungry I could eat me an entire gnome," he said jokingly, having no actual dislike for gnomes. He soon ordered a large amount of alcoholic beverages, food and the like, having found a comfortable place in one of the corners of the inn. "I'll pay," said the dwarf as the barmaid turned to Robert, waiting for him to place his orders.

"Excellent, now I have an excuse to follow you in your wanderings, if only to repay the debt. Let it be four mugs of dark beer and a Wild Hog Shank, extra-big, thank you. Oh, and an additional thanks for that ashtray, darling." - Robert grinned and finally took off his goggles to wink at the barmaid, revealing his yellow eyes with long narrow pupils.

Vagrin watched Robert do all this with some degree of amusement, the dwarf chuckled, "hopin' yer gonna get lucky I see," he said as the barmaid went to place their orders. "I apologies fer my friend 'ere, he hasn't been brought up with all the honour an' traditions us dwarves have," he said to her when she came back. The woman laughed, setting down their food and drink, "don't worry, I'm used to it. And no you won't be getting lucky either at this rate," she said to Vagrin who put on a look as if to say that how would anyone dare attempt to frame him for attempting something like that. "Anything else?" she asked, checking to make sure they had everything they wanted. "Actually we're in need o' two rooms fer the night," said the dwarf. The barmaid nodded, making a mental note of it to herself. "Is that all?" she asked, already moving as if to walk off to serve some of the other customers.

"I think yes, darling." - Robert grinned once again, before letting out a smoke ring into the air right above him, then another one, this time smaller - now the rings were floating one in another. Soon the cigar met its end and for several minutes the only sounds that came from Rob's end of the table were a quiet, concentrated nomming interrupted by generous sips of beer. In the middle of the feast Rob grunted satisfiedly - "The beer may not be as, hehe, strong as you dwarves are used to, but damned I am if it is not delicious."

Vagrin nodded, having already guzzled down a lot of the stuff, "aye, it is weak, but tis good," he said. "So, ye hopin' fer anything ter do with that barmaid, or were ye just makin' comments?" the dwarf asked, digging in to the delicious stew he had ordered.

Rob raised his eyebrows - "You sound as if I'm doing anything uncommon. Mind you, I'm just being stylish." - he chuckled, finishig his meal. The gunman carefully wiped his mouth with a napkin and smiled widely before taking out another cigar.

"Now this brings back memories..." Shiara chuckled, examining the elvish craftsmanship. "But I think I prefer human accomodations..." she smiled. "It's... homier... warm... not like the cold beauty of Teldrassil."

Vagrin kept eating, a large pile of dishes off to one side of the table, the remnants of what he had eaten. "Well, what'll we do ter pass the time 'till we head off fer rest o' the night?" he asked, leaning back and placing his hands on his stomach contentedly.

"Nothing could be easier."
The carpet brought them along rooms resembling Gnomeregan, Ironforge, Gilneas, Silvermoon and even Gadgetzan before halting at massive wooden doors.
"As my friend François - mind you, he'll freeze you to the core if you call him Frank - says,
voila
."
The door opened, revealing an expensive apartment in which even a Count from Stormwind House of Nobles would spend a night willingly. Valentine jumped off of the carpet and came up to a wooden piano, saying - "Get yourself comfortable." - before he sat at it and began playing. As the sounds of music filled the room Valentine added - "Now that you're so content about returning home, I guess nothing hinders me from packing up my stuff and going North early in the morning - a trip I was planning a long time ago. Or can I hope you would accompany me there?" - he asked hopefully.

"We could make up our minds on where we're going next. The rogue necromancers..."
Robert clenched his fists and continued - "I've heard of a Marksman in the North, Maurice or Morec... No, Morgan. As far as I am concerned, he's into this stuff, and perhaps could give us a hint of what's going on."

"Aye, but the question be who's behind this, not as much who's involved. Of all places, why Westfall?" the dwarf asked, though the question was more or less rhetorical.

"Of all places?" - asked Robert ironically, puffed out a cloud of smoke and leaned closer to the dwarf. - "Vagrin,
mon ami
, we're almost in the heart of the kingdom, and even here we managed to hunt down and eliminate the threat by sheer luck." - his voice dropped to a whisper. - "How can you be sure what is happening in areas more distant and less occupied?"

"Pop'lated places aren't the best, these kinds o' rad'cal organisations pop up all th' time in isolated zones. Easier ter deceive an' blind people's view o; the truth when yer far 'way from the bulk o' the military and th' aristocracy," the dwarf replied in a quieter tone. "First it starts in calmer, less important places, or a' least ones that be seen as less important. From there onwards these cults spread once they 'ave some sorta power...." he continued. "Then all o' a sudden they strike at the heart o' a kingdom... At least that's wha' they do oft, perhaps not so much nowadays..."
"O' course, if there be others then it be more than likely these cultists only play a minor role... First we gotta find out how org'nised they truly be, tha' will tell us how much o' a threat they pose... and if it's credible..." the dwarf trailed off, leaning back and downing another mug of ale.
