And that doesn't hint at anything?

Let me put it this way:
After seeing that the explanation for troll druids appears to be "oh, they were hiding out among the tigers on the Echo Isles," I didn't expect anything
better
than that.

well, they already said in lore human druids are POSSIBLE so long as they can focus on their nature side or something like that. The only previous mention, ever, of human druids in the Warcraft universe was in the tabletop game from White Wolf (specifically, page 79 of the
Alliance Players' Guide
).
But, hey—again, at least it's no worse than their troll explanation.

If any race gets druid its DraneiBlizzard's too busy desperately trying to shuffle them under the rug and pretend they don't have a fanbase, because a few crybabies QQed about a petty retcon.

Worgen Druids sound like total bull to me. If any race gets druid its Dranei
Nope, Blizzard officially announced Worgen Druids back at BlizzCon.
Anyways, I'm not surprised they are going this route. Back before I found out about this particular leak, I would often theorize that Worgen Druids would be considered "naturalists" who knew some nature magic but had no concept for things like shapeshifting.
Looks like I may of been more or less right. The only difference between what Blizzard is doing in what I theorized is that they do occasionally call themselves Druids.

Nope, Blizzard officially announced Worgen Druids back at BlizzCon.I think Onimusha was trying to imply that that's bogus. That this is the pooch, this is a turnscrew, and Blizzard is making them interact. You get the picture.

Exactly my thoughts.
I would LOVE a draenei druid. But anyways, that's not the point.
Yeah, this explanation is just crap. They were just driven to the edge of extinction? I wish someone would have finished them off.
Well, at least we know now that in the next expansion or two there will be human druids (and according to arguments about the Forsaken, since they were once humans they should be able to have all the same classes!)

Don't rage so much. Seems that Gilnean have manage to connect with nature. Seeing as we know little of Gilneas after they sealed the kingdom behind the Wall they could have developed druidism during the interval between the Second War and the Cataclysm. In Gilneas there are some trees with Night elf-like structures on them, that can be related.

This is possible. However, it is more likely that Night Elves taught some of the Worgen druidism in the cultural exchange that resulted from the elves' intervention in the Forsaken-Gilnean war.
This also explains the structures; probably built by night elves after landing in Gilneas.

Are you implying that Blizzard added that character just to explain Worgen Druids? They put in two guys to 'explain' Night Elf Mages and Tauren Paladins.

no those gilneans learned druidism themselves. they know all about druidism,
all aspects of it
. she even says "go with the wild"
So, Gilneans can shapeshift like any other druid, or they only channel nature magic?

they're legit druids. they even say go with the wild, sounds FERAL to me. they are normal druids, just human. they can shape^&*! and heal and stuff like any other druid.
dont know why everyone wants everything to not actually be the class but be some "similiar" class.
they are gilnean druids, not anything else.
It not that I don't trust you but, do you have any way to confirm what you say? like a screenshot of a Gilnean pre-worgen curse shapeshifting into a bear or something?
It is not that I don't think that worgen druids won't be able to shapeshifting lore-wise but I think this capability is "given" to them through the worgen curse (after all the original worgen where druids "locked" in the worgen shapeshifting form).
