Hello, could someone tell me what the hell is going on? Usually I have a latency of 80-150 ms (while questing), but whenever i enter a dungeon/raid/wg or just simply go to dalaran my latency jumps to 15k ms and as you may guess, the game is impossible to play. I turned every single option either off or on low to increase performance... well that doesn't help a bit. Even when I turn off my firewall while playing I still get the 15k latency 'crit'. Does anyone of you guys know the reason, and most important, the solution to this?
My pc is as follows:
Procesor: AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-75 2.20 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
Video card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 512mb
And a 8mb internet connection
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the stuff you can do to increase performance would only increase your
, not your
Latency depends almost entirely on your internet connection and/or the server's connection... Doesn't have anything to do with graphics and such.
DFire870 is correct it's your connection not your PC. Maybe update network drivers, check router or modem for issues, try the latency fix on wowinterface and see how that affects it.
is the latency fix Sheridan mentioned. But it won't help you with your latency spurts.
Your problem sounds like a bug more than a bad connection. Make sure all your drivers are up to date, especially your graphics card driver, and try again. It looks to me like other people's spells or animations or similar is screwing you over because your drivers aren't up to date.
