Seal of Righteousness vs Seal of Command

Hi all, just did a quick test with those two seals with 5/5 seals of the pure but not glyphed.
I tested naked with just a weapon, seal of command did more damage at lower levels of AP it seems.
But when I equipped all my gear, seal of righteousness did pretty equal if not slightly more damage.
Judgement damage is significantly bigger than command.
I am wondering, should I glyph Seal of righteousness for both PvE and PvP specs?
I run with two ret specs, one for PvE and one for PvP.
Is it worth glyping and which glyphs should I use for PvE and PvP?
PvP spec -

PvE spec -

Further testing showed seal of righteousness is 500 DPS more than command.

I think it may depend on whether or not you have mana issues.
Glyph of Seal of Command
essentially turns Judgement into a mana regen spell as well as a DPS spell.
GoSoCom provides 8% of base mana back; Judgement costs 5% of base mana. This means you've negated the cost of Judgement completely and are actually regaining 3% base mana every time you Judge. A Retadin with 5000 mana would gain approximately 150 mana every time they Judge, which equates out to 1050 mana over a 1-minute fight (assuming he judges every cooldown and has Imp. Judgements).
Scratch that - we're talking about base mana, not total mana. Brain isn't awake yet for numbers.

Tbh command is complete rubbish even for pvp, judgement damage is pathetic and SoR cant be dodged or parried etc on the second dice roll.
Atm JoR is proccing seal too, wich i dont know if its intended, but is quite a chunk of added dmg (800 or so for me, no glyph no talent).
15% more damage on the judgement, and 15% + 10% specced and glyphed seal damage look awesome, but would you give up imp. righteous fury, hoj, and improved sacred shield for that?
I'm gonna glyph:
Salvation for the IBF like thing (godsend to pop a bit after wings when they switch on u cause you cant bubble)
Exorcism for the added burst
Judgement for obvious reasons
Will keep 1 point in vindication as trash debuff and 1 in e4e for grounding totem killing.

Y'know, I kinda wondered this. There really isn't a huge difference between SoCom and SoRight anymore, is there?

Seal of Righteousness
We haven't used this seal since we were leveling up, and it sickens me to say that it is now an option to use. This seal cannot crit, but also cannot miss or be dodged/parried (unless your white swing or special misses). While this seal doesn't benefit from 2H spec or weapon damage increases, it does benefit from SotP, which is in all our primary pve talent builds. With 5/5 SotP, SoR averages about 100 dps higher than SoC until you are in Ilvl 250+ gear. Judging SoR triggers an SoR proc.
Seal of Command
This is a weak option for a pvp seal. SoC has been retooled again; it is no longer ppm based, rather it triggers on every attack (like blood used to) and has no ICD. Judging is no longer a guaranteed crit vs stunned targets. SoC procs are still capable of criticals and follow all the standard melee attack rules. SoC pulls ahead of SoR only when fighting 3+ mobs that only live for 12s each. Judging SoC also triggers an SoC proc.

I have been toying around with this one:

SoR vs disspell-capable enemies, SoV for others. Thoughts?

Applies to Ret only. Prot should use Seal of Command.

I wouldn't recommend SoR for PVP. You have to give up imp hammer of justice to spend 5 talent points to make it better than SoC. The tradeoff is not worth it imo.

I agree from each respective view.
Yes, SoR does more DPS, but it cannot crit, and you lose mana returns.
It's personal preference this early on.

Funny thing is my DPS went up by about 800 using SoR now (glyphed and Sotp). I assume its because Im not exp capped and not finished with hit cap. 800dps though.
Also doing dailies my frontend damage is around 6-8k. My ret set averages i200-213
PvP peices

the nerf on seal of command is a joke...saw my DPS in Naxx drop like a ton of bricks...attacking now without using SoC...i use SoV, with the glyph for it and have seen my dps pop back up to where it was before...also...they never said anything bout nerfing Crusader strike...or the Libram at all...bunch of bs is what i call it....i should add...as long as ive used JoW i haven't seen a loss in mana gains or having no mana at all

i have changed my points to Seal of pure to add more dps

Why exactly were you using SoC in raid pre 3.2? And...whats...with...all....the....pauses...

Another question.
Glyph of exorcism or consecration for DPS?
Consecration adds more dps per gcd.
Though it really depends on how much you use it on single target, and if you use 2/5 T8.
Between the occasional FoL, and SS refresh (now 30 sec on pve spec, sigh) i find myself rarely having a spare gcd to cons.
