Not necessarily, at least one instance, the Icecrown quest where you kill mini-Gluths and Liches (both elite IIRC), the Lich's frostbolt canNOT be reflected. I'm pretty sure a bunch of boss spells also can't be reflected.

Thats not always true.
You can reflect the aoe from final boss in HoS (lightning ring or sth).
You can reflect cone aoe from Malganis (Carrion Swarm).

Wowwiki has a nice list of "Spells to Reflect" that covers BC fights.
http://www.wowwiki.com/Spells_to_reflect
It generally lists bosses/mobs that use an ability that Spell Reflection will somehow work on. Not all of them are pure reflects (some bosses use abilities that would debuf you, but when reflected it just causes the effect to disappear)
The general rule is you can reflect any spell that is cast directly at you or at multiple people, but not AoE's.
So you can reflect one (the on targeting you one) of a frostbolt flying at each person in a raid, but cant reflect Blizzard.
As mentioned, there are some exceptions. Some mobs in the Opening the Dark Portal apparently use a reflectable cone attack. You can apparently reflect Death Grip and the DK will be pulled to you. If you have reflect up when a Shaman uses Thunderstorm without the glyph, it throws THEM backwards.

I thought I did once reflect Gothik's shadow bolt at him.... huh...
I do know last night I was off-tanking one of the
half-man half-stag things
in Freya's area, the ones who
cast the green frontal AoE
. Shield Reflect blocked the debuf from applying.
(since reading a bit more on the mechanics of shield block, ive been experimenting with it on the odd fight.)

Today I Spell Reflected a Death Knight's Death Grip as I jumped down the edge of Lumber Mill. Guess what? He dragged himself down the edge and I landed smoothly using my engineering-made parachute.
Thought I'd share that with you folks.

I'm pretty sure you can reflect AoE spells, for the most part. Anything that's kind of magical but not entirelty, like Judgments and pretty much anything by Paladins but Holy Shcok can't be reflected. For the most part any other pc spell can be, in my experience.

Awesome.
About AoE spells, I'm sure I've seen Warriors Spell Reflect things like Thunderstorm and Frost Nova / Blast Wave. Though its a shame Judgements can't be reflected. :(

Holy Shock can't be reflected? I always thought the contrary, thanks. Now I know why exactly I lose to Holy paladins lol. Didn't know about Loken's nova either, I really got to try that one out!
And no, in general we can't reflect AoE spells. Perhaps we can reflect secondary effects (like reflect the bump on a Blast Wave, but still eat the damage).

Holy shock can certainly be reflected just not judgement as it's considered a ranged melee attack...
You can reflect Thunderstorm but the shaman MUST be targeting you when they cast it. AoE spells all work this way to my knowledge and i'm always trying to bring a lil reflective pain on my attackers. My personal favorite thusfar was the Thunderstorm that i reflected that sent all those poor alliance plummeting to their doom as i capped the flag...sooo priceless. Reflecting the Death Grip is still hilarious even though it doesn't really change the situation..Reflecting Chains of noobness is much more profitable but since it seems that DK in my battle group are only capable of face-rolling it's impossible to tell when what is going to be cast. All in all it's best to see what's attacking you and focus the largest burst-capable opponent. I LOVE reflecting Arcane blasts back for 5k at the poor mage while chasing the devilish bolt down with a nice charge/MS crit heh.. Watch for flame shock on yourself too as it's very nice to reflect a 100% crit lava burst back at an unsuspecting shaman hehe.
A more usefull list would be a list of immunities to set on a buff/debuff watcher so you know to start banking rage ie. Dont' blow rage on a bubbled paladin (if shattering throw is on CD obviously) and like Frost Block. You could then prioritize your attacks elsewhere and not just whack away at immune targets like so many warriors i see in BG's ...god that's depressing.

Hammer of Wrath can't be reflected. It's strange, it acts like a physical projectile, yet deals unresistable, magic damage? Also I, too, thought Judgements could be reflected. Hmm..

The list of exceptions is long. Some AoE can be reflected, some single target spells cannot. It's just wherever Blizzard was sloppy, or wherever BLizzard decided you should get pwned.

Judgements are considered a 10-yard melee attack that cannot be dodged or parried, this is why you can use them on hunters that use deterrance.
Hammer of wrath is considered a 20-yard melee attack, not 100% sure if it can be deflected by a hunter, I'll let you know.
