think felguard is ugly and not that awesome (he hit like some one with a bat that is afraid of a ball he suppose to hit <.< and looks like he got a balance problem when he hit some one just that his feets are heavy that hold him in place) but that what i think, you can love him so much you want for me
anyway then it got to be a minor felguard....but i wish more for a infernal "sigh" was why i wanted to be warlock in early wow because fan of Dreadlord in Wc 3:(Nothing more fun to sleep then crush their head with a inferno !)

taking this seriously for a second:
blizz has trouble finding a niche for each of the current pets so they're very unlikely to add another without there being a gap in the warlock's arsenal for it. if it's better than a felguard (like current doomguards) then who would use a felguard again? if it's not as good then what's the point in making them permanent?
same goes for the infernal really. i'd love to be able to use one all the time but if they were the best PvE pet then that's all we'd ever see. infernals and doomguards DO currently have their niche. infernals are good for burn phases when you need the extra damage for a minute (though i'd like to see a change where your previous pet is resummoned automatically when the infernal dies) and doomguards are extra damage on a longish cooldown - good for pet friendly boss fights.

agreed but don't hold your breath. it took them a long time to get round to player characters, they're not going to give attention to NPC pets any time soon.

Personally i wish they go back to having them both "permanent"(where they can break free and need to be enslaved). Be fun to focus on something else than the boss during those 5+ min fights...
Oh yes, because I love having more abilities that require me to spend even more soul shards, especially since it gets harder and harder to enslave every time.
