Character: Taelani Elmwood, Jade Leafrunner, Nakresh Ogrefist
Location: Silverwing Outpost, Ashenvale
Jade looked over to the center of the outpost, where a bonfire was burning and orcs were celebrating, and then over to the outskirts of the village, into the dark forest.
"So what now?" Jade asked the troll tentatively. "You're the boss, for the moment, at least."
The priestess eyed the troll, trying to judge how weary he really was.
Character: Cynthia Hawthorne
Location: Stormwind Harbour
"Oh, that's good to hear," Cynthia replied with a sigh of relief. "Glad to see Stormwind's Best has everything under control. We don't need any more excitement after that dragon."

Jasmin
Ashenvale
The trail was desolate down to the smallest of animals, rakes of sharp branches reaching for their faces as they rode it. In the gloom it was near impossible to tell, yet the oppressive atmosphere drew in until it was breathing down their necks, flares of eldritch light drifting out of vision in the trees beyond the trees. Felwood.
Naranaya Silverserpent
Felwood
A horrendous scream split the air, and the ears of those nearest, from the very gemstone itself, screeching like a banshee as shockwave after shockwave of corrupting magics burst from it like a steady heartbeat into the two encasing crystals.
The slime elf's visage was one of sheer hate.
"Die!"
She hissed, blasting Tarina point-blank with everything she had left in her. On all sides the three oozes closed in on the draenei.

"Indeed, crazy thing with that metal jaw dragon. Just flew in, destroyed the park and took a seat by the gates. He could have done more harm... The beast is insane." Liliana shaked her head trying to figure out Neltharion, a fruitless task, and in need of some grog.

"I wasn't even in town when it happened," Cynthia confessed, slurring slightly. "I was down at Westbrook Garrison, taking some messages up to Stormwind. I heard the dragon tearing up the city from all the way down there. I rode up as fast as I could to defend the city, but he had already taken off by then. He made another pass, but it didn't seem like he did nearly as much destruction the second time."

"Well I could show you, but you're right about the flying thing." Adelir paced back and forth. "Perhaps another sending?"

Name:
Garning Blacksmith, Saharas
Location:
Ruins of Vash’jir
Saharas cut through the waters above the clutch. Below the naga outpost swelled like a cancer of coral and netting from the sharp ledge of land. Ancient stone buildings rose, crowned by angular roofs here and there, pearly spheres glowing among them. Murloc slaves rushed about to whatever tasks they had, while the shadows of swimming naga passed in stiff formations. It reared from above the kelp forests which displayed vast swathes of colour all overthe blue sea floor, the perfect place to observe the perfect place to hide.
She rose above the sharp ledge. Before her the clear waters of the ocean sea offered her an expansive view. Her eyes narrowed, slits of pupil widening with focus.
There.
The bottoms of ships could just be seen, dark things which swelled beneath the waterline. So vulnerable. So curiously pointless. She wondered how they could be so stupid as to leave such a vital point so defenceless.
She shook her head and returned to the shelf. She needed to gather her troops. The warden would handle prisoners, but she had no intention of leaving it all in his hands. She would find them and recover the stone. Her three hands tightened painfully. She would show them.
Name:
Jay
Location:
Raynewood Retreat
Raynewood Retreat lay near the entrance to Felwood, though the atmosphere there gave little indication but a few short miles away lay that accursed land. As the advance forces of the column turned with the path which wound round the sanctuary, the new night elf tower reared before them like a pillar of marble.
Tinklng laughter fell from the air. Soldiers looked up to the hill to see dryads prancing along. The half deer, half elven women hadlime green skin and hair bedecked with flowers. Yet despite their frolicking and mirth, they bore spears of wood, though in a token to their nature, decorated with a garland of flowers.
Jay grimaced a little and hunched on her horse. The atmosphere was cheery. Almost too much. She felt acutely like smiling and laughing with the strange women. Instead she crossed her arms haughtily and watched the skies for Felicity's return. She wondered where the paladin was?
A sudden thought speared hermind. Zalexdrad. Her hands tightened on the reins and her expression grew dark. Bastard. Her foul mood seemed to radiate among the troops nearest her, who failed to become infected with the joyous laughter of the dryads, and instead rode purposfully towards the tower.
Reaching the tower, a rest was called. The troops fanned out, finding spots to relax for the time being. They needed to be fresh if they expected to march through felwood. Jay herself dismounted near the tower, stomping away and kicking at a stone huffily.

"What does a professional druid do exactly?" Tickten asked. "I mean aside from war. I can't imagine it's a very lucrative career choice."

Morlidus, Daneera Halfmoon, Kallis
Location:
Ashenvale
Daneera swung her bow, nocked an arrow, and aimed in near the same motion. Her hands were steady, but before she could think or notice it, she loosed for the slime on the left.
Name:
Barrett Blackhammer, Lignite, Garning Blacksmith
Location:
Open Sea
Noting Lignite having trouble donning her helmet, Barret crossed the sand and started to help her into it. "You don't have to come."
"I'm not going to back down," she said. Her next words came out distorted by the helmet. "I can handle it. You should stay up here."
"And how is it safer for you than me?" Barrett asked pointedly.
"I can...hold my breath longer."
"No doubt," Barret said wryly as he adjusted the seal about her throat.

"Oh no." Lucien waved a hand at Loki. "As the senior officer, that's my job. You're going down there with the rest of them."
Tarina, Zalexdrad
Felwood
Zalexdrad sneered, wings closing around himself as his hooves impacted the felfire; a wall of shadow rushing outwards, holding the Incubus aloft.
Wings spread, and revealed the Sayaad Knight in his truest form. His clothes all but gone, only leather shorts, ending in thick knee pads. Muscles along his chest and arms flexed, his legs tensing as his tail lashed back and forth, horn curving over his hair.
Flipping his estoc around, he held it in a reverse grip, face contorting his concentration. "Die!" He shouted; his barrier dropping suddenly and collapsing over the blade. Stabbing downwards, the shadow magics cut through the fel fire; racing towards Morlidus.
Tarina gasped, screaming as she fell backwards, the green electricity igniting the air and illuminating her, searing his flesh red. Still the ticking continued, and the Draenei brought the cannon round to the central slime. Light vanished from around her, the fel lightning arcing into sheer darkness.
And then, the ticking stopped. A simple ding resounded, and the crystals split from the gem; arcing to either side.
A small stream of light exited the darkness, shooting forward through Naranaya, and off into the distance beyond her.
And then, without a sound, a blast of light exploded forward, illuminating the screaming Tarina, he own voice coming moments after the roar of the blast finally reached the ears of those around, the titanic weapon challenging the heavens with its glow.

The fel elf's eyes widened as the blade cut like a knife of darkness through the flame. His fist strucl the sword. Fire and darkness raged against each other.
Darkness won.
"
AUGHHHH!
" Morlidus screamed as the blade sliced his arm to the bone. He twisted away at the last moment, stumbling back from the incubus.

Character: Rashahkk the Inexorable, Pyra Anathema
Location: Silverwing Outpost, Ashenvale
"You must have me confused with the other troll," Base chuckled, habitually adjusting his goggles as he looked over at the elf. "I myself am an assassin, in the service of Ravenholdt. The Horde purchased my services for this offensive, and unlike druidism, it
is
a very lucrative career," he added, grinning. "How about you? You're in service of that Rashahkk fellow, eh? You planning on becoming a death knight?" he asked with a chuckle.
Character: Taelani Elmwood, Jade Leafrunner, Nakresh Ogrefist
Location: Silverwing Outpost, Ashenvale
Taelani watched the troll's back carefully, though she didn't even have a weapon to betray him with. Jade gave her a disapproving glare.
When the troll had finished, the two elves turned to follow. Taelani walked with reluctance, but Jade kept the proud stride of a warden. As she passed the priestess, she bumped into her and gave a quick whisper.
"If you break the oath, at least do it decisively. Don't half-ass it,
she snapped, striding ahead to where the troll was walking towards the camp.
Nakresh sat in a beautifully crafted elf-chair, removed from one of the buildings and brought out to the bonfire. The peons were already serving the first course of dinner, a hearty venison stew, and Nakresh had made quick work of his bowl. His comrades were laughing and singing, but he was content to sit and contemplate his next move.
When he noticed the druid walking over, he beckoned the troll over and had a peon fetch him a bowl.

Naranaya Silverserpent
Felwood
Naranaya gave a shrill scream, struck as a boulder in floodwater. Incredibly her lightning came harder, cutting thin green lines on the light, delivering even more agony to the draenei. Then she was gone, her very self expended in her last ditch counterattack and the devastating beam of light both. The oozes on either side of Tarina liquefied, leaving the hard ground coated in slime. Naught more than the insidious gemstone was left lying where the former elf had stood, meltingly hot.
