Character: Rashahkk the Inexorable, Base, Pyra Anathema
Location: Orgrimmar
By the time Rashahkk had remounted and took off north along the Gold Road, the earthquake had long since passed, but its long term effects weren't quite apparent.
The Mor'shan Rampart was still intact, though, albeit rather shaken up. The smell of death was in the air, but only faintly, indicating that a few corpses might be lying around the area.
"Lok'tar," Rashahkk bellowed to the first orc he came across. "We need to speak with your commander."
"Zug-Zug," the orc replied dutifully, running back to the camp. Rashahkk followed on horseback, riding in slowly.
The guard that Rashahkk had spoken with stepped into a large tent, and before long, reemerged beside a tall, broad orc clad in the golden armor of the Kor'kron Guard, with a braided red beard hanging out of his horned helmet.
"Identify yourself," the captain demanded roughly.
"I am Rashahkk the Inexorable," Rashahkk replied, grinning and giving a mock bow. "I was assigned to a Special Resources Team by General Agmar and sent to report to you."
"Rashahkk?" the captain pondered for a moment. "Wait... I know you. From Northrend," the orc added, spitting on the ground. "Agmar's Hammer. A Taunka I knew told me you killed their family, but then they disappeared and the charges never stuck. And now your a damned death knight. Serves you right."
"It does serve me right indeed," Rashahkk laughed loudly. "Why spend all that time sleeping and eating and ^&*!ting when you could be killing? That's why you're stuck here at this post, guarding a pass, and I'm being sent to go slaughter Raynewood."
"Bloody monster," the orc captain growled. "I'd kill you right here, but I serve the Horde, and the Horde says you're necessary to this operation."
"Not on his own, of course," Base chimed in, having pulled his motorcycle alongside the tent. "And I'm sure we can trust him to be professional, right?" he stated confidently, looking intently at the death knight.
"Of course, this is business after all," Rashahkk laughed. "I'm just a humble servant of the Horde, doing my duty as an orc," he added, grinning wide.
"Well you might as well get on with it," the captain answered, growling and shaking his head. "Get yourself staged, and then I'll give you the signal when it's time to begin the operation."
Pyra's kodo stomped up right as they were ending the conversation, and was happy to slow down and rest. Pyra, on the other hand, was quite impatient, and eager to get on with the offensive. It was killing her to have all these interruptions and obstacles in between her and a successful operation and a return to Quel'thalas and the company of the Magisters instead of these stinking savages.

Tickten observed the exchange with interest. Specifically, the rather sordid information respecting the death knight. He eyed Rashakk a little more uneasily after that.

"Lady Naranaya Silverserpent. Also known as the one that's going to eat you whole!" The horror declared with gleeful malevolence. Surging forth with frightening momentum, beneath the knees the fel ooze's legs had melted into an agile amorphous puddle which left the undergrowth wilting sickly in its wake.

"And you would be?" Felicity said.
Jay spun aside from the thing's charge, slashing as she moved at the thing's torso.

Felicity turned to fully face the dwarf, expression dour. "I expect more of an answer."
"She knows Silvia," Lupaine said.
Felicity glanced quickly from dragon to dwarf. "In that case I am going to need more of an answer."

Character: Rashahkk the Inexorable, Base, Pyra Anathema
Location: Mor'shan Rampart/Ashenvale
While they were waiting for the signal, Base was sitting in front of his motorcycle, casually sharpening his knives with a sharpening stone, carefully inspecting the edge with each pass. Once each one had been brought up to his standard, he gave it a thin coat of an oily dark purple substance from one of the vials on his belt. A paralytic, it was intended to seize up the affected muscle group and make the victim easier to finish. Although Base did know a great deal about poisoncraft, this particular concoction had been purchased from the Undercity, known for its alchemists.
As he finished applying the poison, he sheathed his daggers in their leather scabbards that he wore around his waist, just below his toolbelt. Standing and turning around to open one of the compartments on his motorcycle, he withdrew a folded contraption and a quiver of steel arrows. Carefully unfolding the device, it proved to be a black compound bow of apparently Dwarven make, strung with animal sinew coiled around the pulleys worked into either end of the bow. Then he strapped the quiver to his back, before finally putting his left arm through the center of the bow and pulling it over his head, resting it on his right shoulder just above the quiver.
Pyra meanwhile too off her thick black robes, revealing a shiny red leather combat suit, inlaid with demonic gold runes that softly glowed with enchantments. The Magisters had outfitted her well, and apparently at great cost. Beneath the leather, a faint green glow indicated her runic demon hunter tattoos, of which there were dozens, running in a ribcage-like pattern around her torso and spiralling down her legs. Around her waist was wrapped a thin chain of felsteel attached to the base of a Kama--an L-shaped sickle made of the same silver-green felsteel as its chain, equipped with a thin sharp blade, and a slender, edged barb at the tip. Eredun runes were inscribed into its blade, glowing with power.
Taking a combat stance, she practiced slinging the bladed weapon at a tree just outside the Rampart, slicing through limbs and taking chunks out of the trunk. Each slice left scorch-marks on the wood from the fel energy coursing through the metal.
Rashahkk merely paced, content with his level of preparedness. He merely waited for the captain to give the word.

Tickten spent his time familiarizing himself with what was in the satchel he'd been given. Military things mostly. Rations, a knife. Flint. Tinder. The usual suspects for men afield and far from home. Now and then the hawkstrider would stalk about him, as if considering biting his ear, think otherwise, and just peck at the feedbag, biding its time.
Soon.
Soon.

"Except without a launchpad, this thing is better as scrap metal." Lucien stated, hopping free from the boat and looking towards the crates in the distance.
"Stay on your guard everyone. I don't like this." He stated, starting up the beach.
Tarina, Zalexdrad
Felwood
Zalexdrad nodded. "Of course." He stated. "But my offer stands, if you feel the need." He continued onwards.

"I'll...Yes. Right." Daneera gave Tarina an uncertain look. Kallis cawed and stalked after the incubus. "How far are we going?" she asked, more to fill the sullen silence which the tainted landscape seemed to gather.

There was a tearing sound as Lignite tore her way out of the cocoon of seat belts.
Barrett climbed to his feet. He leaned on the rail, looking out over the golden beach and far flung sea.

Felwood
Tarina offered a shrug at the look, clearly watching the Incubus past the Night Elf.
"I want to make it to the path leading to Hyjal, at least." Zalexdrad replied. "That will let us move the force up at least that far."

The blade passed right through the former elf, its swift passage briefly halting her advance as she for a moment became two separate physical entities. The bullet ricocheted off the gemstone without as much as scratching it, a gout of felfire screaming out from it in Adam's direction.
Her severed halves rejoined themselves. The man now firmly the centre of her attention, her insane grin distended grotesquely as she sought to envelope him in another surge.

Jay lashed the thing with her whip, trying to wrap it about the gem. However, the viscuous liquid which was the thing's body prevented this. "Damn!" Jay yanked back the whip, hoping its dislodging would interrupt the thing's charge.
Their battle had not gone unnoticed. Someone shouted and people began to move towards the battle to investigate.

Reaching one of the crates, Lucien eyed it curiously. Grabbing the edge, he extended his claws; using them as a wedge to break it open.
"Rations." He observed, looking at the food within. "At least we won't go hungry..."

Zalexdrad turned back to glance at the woman. "Huh?"

Barrett swung over the side and onto the beach. He landed in a crouch, then rose and scanned the landscape. "Where are your allies?" he asked.
