Nustal the Fateless
Naxxanar
With a grin, Nustal lifted the necromancer bridal shower, clearly enjoying himself as her moved her to the orb, setting her down gently.
Manaflare
Borean Tundra
Manaflare hissed, wasting no time as she rushed forward. One hand grabbed Dominic, the other grabbed Rhys, dragging them both with her.
Vira Darkbreeze, Socled Coldblood
Howling Fjord
Vira was quick, clearly quicker than the Darkfallen expected. The intruder barely managed to get free from her chair, boots coming round to deflect the blades. Her hands came up next, each launching a lance of ice towards the other undead.
Darkbreeze was no fool, however, already prepared for the follow-up as she slammed into the other woman. With a rip, the tent burst open, depositing them within the battle proper.
The green smoke billowed for a moment longer, Forsaken rushing to try to contain the spills. Roars echoed out, Vrykul rushing into the battle with axes and hammers at the ready. They clashed with the undead forces, quickly pushing inward.

Character:
Dominic Majunc
Location:
Borean Tundra
"Hghk!" Dominic gagged as he found himself once more hefted by the blue women and borne quickly across the frozen stones of the hill. He kicked at the wildly thrust spear to throw it off.
Dunkelblau propped himself onto his arms. His head spun and he shook to clear it. At once he looked about and his expression darkened as he saw the fleeing figures. "You are asking for it!" he shouted, stumbling to his feet.
Character:
Granda Lusgrave, Arcrick, Hugo
Location:
Borean Tundra, Naxxanar
Granda started at the sudden lifting, her heavy coat pressing against the straps across Nustal's chest. She tolerated it with ill grace, giving the darkfallen a hard look when he set her down.
Character:
Rani
Location:
Howling Fjord, Vengeance Landing
Rani looked up through watering eyes as the woods exploded with Vyrkul. She wheezed through tortured lungs and dragged her sword up to defend herself.

Character: Private Alex Wolfe, Captain Cain Johnson, Staff Sergeant Miranda Fuller, Corporal Joseph Harris
Location: Valgarde, Howling Fjord
"It's possible..." Alex muttered, looking up at the massive structure. "Though I can't think of any reason that a living human would voluntarily go in there. I can't imagine anything friendly living inside."
Harris sized up the tower. "I suppose if he was defecting to the Scourge, he wouldn't really care that much about his life," the corporal commented. "And, assuming that the Scourge have control of the keep, and I can't imagine them not at this point, it is certainly the closest structure to Valgarde in which he could be certain he was out of our reach." He paused, taking a drag on his cigarette. "But we don't know for sure if he defected or not."
Character: Heinrich von Siegmeyer
Location: Vengeance Landing
Heinrich, being closest to the reaction, cried out in surprise and pain as the compounds he'd been comparing a moment earlier were suddenly shattered by enemy fire and reacted together. Green gas rose in clouds around him, and an oozing green sludge formed on the table, melting through the wood and dripping onto the ground below. He didn't need to breathe, so he was fortunate enough to not inhale any of the gas, but that hardly comforted him as his well-preserved skin started to liquefy and his glassy eyes ran out of their sockets and streamed down his face. Even his deadened nerves felt the burning agony of the near-perfect Blight as it turned them to jelly. He gave a chilling scream of horror and anguish, instinctively withdrawing from the worktable and away from the gas. Covering his face, he near flopped on the the ground a few feet away, stripping off his disintegrating robes and casting them away.

Character:
Morec
Location:
Eastern Plaguelands
Morec was all but sprawled out on the ground. His weapon forced from his hand. His powers drained beyond any use. Every attempt to struggle against the energy holding him, restraining his every movement - holy energy from the earth itself - only made its pull that much stronger.
He turned his gaze up, glaring at the paladin who only now had joined the battle. The coward. The fool! The Lich King would have him! He would have them all! None would be left alive once they were free of this trickery.
He continued to struggle.
Character:
Vrem Dartskul, Sithia Frozenbone
Location:
Howling Fjord
Dartskul's attention shot back as the explosion occured and the arrows flew. He waved the small force of Forsaken soldiers he'd assembled off, sending them into action. Already a decent distance from the camp, they were able to come in at the attacking vrykul from the side - for all the good it did them.
Rottalon flew from his shoulder and Vrem lifted his rifle
Sithia as well was caught by surprise, and she scrambled to reach the innermost parts of the camp. She noted the glowing green clouds and sludge that were sprouting up from around the camp - best to avoid them, they LOOKED unhealthy.
Character:
Kayava
Location:
Howling Fjord
Defect to the Scourge?... Kayava looked back up at the towering structure.
Who in their right mind would attempt such a thing? Or even want to? The Horde she could at least partially understand, she had seen horrors done by its founders, but... But it had honest people in its ranks, the Prophet had seen good in even the fel-tainted Blood Elves, enough to help them in their darkest hour. It had cultures and heroes of its own, honor...
But the Scourge, the Scourge as she understood it was pure evil. The likes of which were comparable only to the Legion itself. Plague, suffering, death all followed in its wake, and it spread it willingly, happily...
"Why would... anyone... join
them
?" she found her thoughts being voiced aloud.
Character:
Scourgelord William Morec
Location:
Utgarde Keep, Howling Fjord
The Scourgelord pulled his sword from its sheath and held it up, inspecting it and showing it off both. It was a simple blade, simpler than even the runeblades that had been given to the Kinghts of Acherus, but it had runes carved into it - or, as was clearly visible, carved over pre-existing runes. Runes that, if one was able to take them in without the alterations, would be shown to have holy origins.
"This weapon of mine has outlived its usefulness to me," William explained. "I ordered the weaponsmiths here to forge me a new one, a test of their usefulness to the Lich King outside of arming their own people." He sheathed his sword. "And word was sent it was prepared."

Nustal the Fateless
Naxxanar
Nustal simply smirked in response, stepping back.
Manaflare
Borean Tundra
Manaflare briefly released Rhys and Dominic, rushing forward and ducking under the blade, her shoulder slamming into the Drakonid. Despite her small frame, she seemed to have an impressive amount of force, as if she nearly weighed as much as her adversary itself.
Sataira Hopefall
Howling Fjord, Utgarde Keep
Sataira walked with him, her own blade on display upon her back. The blade was large, color beginning as yellow at the hilt and fading to a dark red at the tip of the blade. The runes carved within it were light, although one could imagine they would be quite visible when active.
"So that was their 'special project'." She confirmed, making her way down a flight of stairs. The roars and other noises of Proto-Drakes filled their ears, and beyond that the familiar heat of a forge drifted through the air.
Vira Darkbreeze, Socled Coldblood
Howling Fjord
A boot to her face caught Socled off guard, the Darkfallen stumbling back. A Vrykul rushed past her, charging the Dark Ranger and prompting a smile from the Scourge woman.
A smile that was suddenly wiped clean as an arrow of shadow ripped the giant's head from his shoulders. Vira rushed forward. The Darkfallen shook, her entire demeanor seeming to change, and she quickly turned and fled. "No, no, no!" She shouted.
A smiliar scene was repeated across the camp. Even as the Vrykul pressed on with hardened determination, the Forsaken not caught within the green mist held their ground. Several of the giants even fell prey to the smoke themselves, coughing and falling over in it's grip.
There were still more, however; many an unprepared apothecary or soldier being cut down. One rushed Rani with a roar, hamming coming down at the Orc.

Dominic fumbled for the sword strapped to his waist. He looked up in panic in time to see Grimm latch onto the mage hunter's leg with yellow teeth.
Character:
Granda Lusgrave, Arcrick, Hugo
Location:
Borean Tundra, Naxxanar
"My thanks," she said coldly. She turned to the orb and grasped it firmly. Her eyes grew glassy, looking far into the distance.
Character:
Rani
Location:
Howling Fjord, Vengeance Landing
Rani threw her blade up. Unfamiliar with her weapon, it was knocked from her grasp with a clang at the giant's mighty blow. She stumbled back.
A black shape hurled itself at the vyrkul. Light spilled from the forsaken's rotted skin and socket like licking flames. "Burn! Burn and be purified!" he howled as holy light engulfed him in an inferno.

Nustal the Fateless
Naxxanar
Nustal nodded, stepping back. "Well. Looks like it's just us now." He stated, looking to the blood mage.
Manaflare
Borean Tundra
Manaflare climbed over the Drakonid, growling. The motion came to her naturally, her bones and muscles making the only correct action rearing and arm back. She then thrust it forward, hand balled into a fist; smashing into the enemy's head like a hammer.
Vira Darkbreeze, Socled Coldblood
Howling Fjord
The Vrykul fell back in surprise, trying to throw the burning undead off himself.

Character:
Vrem Dartskul, Sithia Frozenbone
Location:
Howling Fjord
Sithia had been watch Deo with horror even as she contributed to the fight - freezing the vrykul from the inside out, slowing their movements and slowly killing them, barely able to focus on their amusing screams of agony - she didn't even know what to make of it. It was... something else, something she'd never seen before.
Vrem spotted the Darkfallen running to escape, and took careful aim at her lower back. Shoot out her spine, shoot out her legs, stop her retreat. He pulled the trigger.
Character:
Scourgelord William Morec
Location:
Utgarde Keep, Howling Fjord
The Scourgelord looked ahead, the heat being quickly followed by the sound of ringing hammers and the light of blazing fires.
"Ah," he said, "I almost forgot: any word of potential turncoats or the possibility of such from within the Alliance and Horde ranks? Anyone who might be willing to turn on their allies for the right price?" As Keleseth had said, the Forsaken were unlikely, but if he had provoked the Forsaken as the Scourgelord figured he had then the San'layn wouldn't be the best judge of such things.

Grimm yelped and tumbled away from the spellcaster. Dominic took the opportunity to slam the hilt of his sword against the woman's head.
Dunkelblau advanced. He threw his hand out towards the blue woman, a bark filled with arcane power leaving his lips. Golden shackles materialized from motes of light, latching on to the blue haired woman's wrists and ankles in the physical form of a slow spell.

I had initially hung back at the advancement of the attack (hey, fights aren't my thing), but it seemed that I would be forced to act. "Swing around," I muttered to Nigel. "Let's pincer him."
Nigel croaked in acknowledgement and took off, swooping through the air towards Dunkelblau. He banked sharply and dived in from his right, going to rake with his claws.
At the same time, I began approaching from his left and slightly behind.

Naxxanar
"Hey. Dont let my charming facade fool you." Nustal waved a hand. "I'm no more excited than you are."
Manaflare
Borean Tundra
Manaflare suddenly found herself struggling against the bindings, falling free from the Drakonid.
Sataira
Utgarde Keep
"Perhaps." Sataira suggested. "Reports are still full of speculation, however."
Vira, Socled
Howling Fjord
The Darkfallen was caught in her leg, tumbling suddenly.
The Vrykul roared in pain, struggling to choke his former ally.

/
Scourgelord William Morec
Location:
Howling Fjord / Utgarde Keep
The Darkfallen's ability to move heavily hampered, the hunter took aim again, this time for her head...
"Keep an eye on that," the Scourgelord suggested. "Prince Valanar has managed to establish a number of eyes within the Alliance forces in the tundra. Doing the same here would be invaluable to understanding the full goals of their campaign."
The Scourgelord followed the giantess elf as she entered into the forge room. The room was blazing with heat that could have rivaled that of Tanaris, but the undead man was unphased by it all. "The weaponsmith I was told took up the commission was named Hrolf," William said. "Is he here?"

Nustal the Fateless
Naxxanar
Nustal shrugged. "So now what..." He wondered, rubbing his chin.
Manaflare
Borean Tundra
Manaflare hissed, struggling to move. She gasped suddenly, thrown back by the Drakonid's arcane attack.
Sataira Hopefall
Howling Fjord, Utgarde Keep
"One way to find out." Sataira replied, slowly making her way up a ramp and standing upon an observation platform.
"Silence! Everyone!" She shouted suddenly. The forge went dead, the various Vrykul halting and staring upwards. "We seek a Hrolf!"
Vira Darkbreeze, Socled Coldblood
Howling Fjord
The Darkfallen grunted, rolling in time to avoid the second shot. A hand raised, pointed at Vira as she charged forward.
There was a sudden blast of mist, ice forming a barrier between the women. Vira raised her bow quickly; taking aim and shattering the wall. Unfortunately, the other undead was gone, prompting a glare from the Dark Ranger.
The Vrykul let out a scream, finally falling limp.

Vrem lowered his rifle and approached, the Vrykul that attempted to attack him at that moment receiving a surprise visit from a hissing Rottalon as it clawed at his throat and pecked his eyes from his head.
The hunter looked down at the ground, but found no tracks. He looked up at the dark ranger. "Should we try to find her?"
The Scourgelord followed her up onto the ramp, looking down over the assembled masses. Strong just by their appearance, and their weaponry matched. He'd seen it in action in Icecrown, but he was yet to be convinced they could create a weapon worthy of him.
From the crowd, an older vrykul, beard long and grey but with a body that was not that different from the younger men around him, stepped forward and knelt before the two death knights. "I am he. Glory be unto the Death God and his knights."
