The Black Prince

This legendary series spans the expansion, with more elaborate rewards each tier.

The reward for Chapter I: Trial of the Black Prince, added in 5.0, is a +500 stat gem that can be placed into a special Sha-Touched weapon, of which there are versions on LFR, Normal, and Heroic difficulty. These gems only work in Sha-Touched weapons.

The reward for Chapter II: Wrathion's War, added in 5.1, is an additional prismatic socket, Eye of the Black Prince. This socket works on both Sha-Touched and 5.2 raid/crafted weapons, but not heroic scenario or Siege of Orgrimmar weapons.

The reward for Chapter III: Two Princes, added in 5.2, is a legendary meta-gem. This can be applied to ilvl 502+ helms added in 5.2 and beyond.

The reward for Chapter IV: Celestial Blessings, aded in 5.3, is an ilvl 600 cape.

The 5.4 reward for Chapter V: Judgment of the Black Prince is a legendary cape with a powerful proc and unique visual effect.

Patch 5.4 introduces a catch-up mechanism for players behind on the legendary questline. The first eight bosses in Siege of Orgrimmar have a chance to drop a Sigil of Power, Sigil of Wisdom, Secrets of the Empire, or Titan Runestone. In addition, all bosses in Throne of Thunder can drop Sigil of Power and Sigil of Wisdom.

Since it's been speculated that The final item can augment a piece of gear, possibly a weapon; I wonder if it can be used on The nice Dagger set Wrathion gave you in Cataclysm? Though is does specify "Greatly empower any piece of Sha-Touched equipment." Let's wait and see...

Breath of the Black Prince
To go along with the new The Black Prince faction there are some quests that end with the reward of a legendary item, the Breath of the Black Prince! This item is likely used to upgrade your gear in some way. Before helping Wrathion, you first share a drink with him while talking about the future of Azeroth.

The first quest in the series requires an honored reputation level, which is earned by killing the mogu and mantid in the Townlong Steppes and the Dread Wastes, as well as any raid creatures.

You must also collect Sigil of Wisdom x 10 and Sigil of Power x 10 from Mogu'shan Vaults, Heart of Fear, or Terrace of Endless Spring. While you are raiding, you need to defeat the Sha of Fear in Terrace of Endless Spring to obtain a Chimera of Fear.

At some point after this he will reward you with a Breath of the Black Prince, but the quests are not chained yet, so we can't be certain as to what the requirements are.

According to the quest descriptions he seems heavily invested in the fate of Pandaria, even hinting towards the oncoming Horde and Alliance war fleets that will turn the beach of Krasarang Wilds into a battlezone in Patch 5.1.

Both the Sigil of Power and the Sigil of Wisdom made me think instantly of the monk, who practices patience, power, and wisdom at the same time. Just an idea though. It would be great if the legendary was different for Horde than it would be Alliance (in terms of appearance).

Hi guyz here is a guide for boost your black prince reputation:
This is a spot to grind Black Prince rep to honored for the first part of the legendary quest. It is located on the northern most island in Townlong Steppes at 35, 11 (Called Shan'ze Dao). Look for the beach on the north eastern side of the island.

There are Shan'ze Illusionists, who have 1.96m HP and Bronze Quilen which are in packs and have 78k HP each here that both give rep.
The best part is the Illusionists do a cast that is similar to mirror images that summons more adds that also give rep (10 each iirc).
The actual Illusionists give about 30 and the Quilen also give 10 if I remember (been awhile so these may be off). There are usually 7 of the illusionists and 3-4 packs of Quillen up at a time and they both have a fairly high respawn rate.

You can also drop a guild banner and gain rep even faster.

I just grinded to honor with 4 other guildies and the guild banner. We just waited until the Golden Lotus dailies had you kill the Unleashed Spirits 30/30. The spirits give you 2.3 rep with all the perks (Except human). And you can easily kill a ton super fast. We got all 5 guildies form 0/6000 to 1/12000 in about 35 minutes. Just keep pulling them back to a center point along with the normal mobs and you win. :)

For those of you who don't know this spot. It is in The Golden Stair in Vale of Eternal Blossom.

I am going to put my 2 cents in and say that if you are really serious about rep grinding in General, my suggestion is grind in the top left section (in the area kor'vess) of the dread wastes.

The reason behind this is 2 fold:
1. you get access to 2 of the mantrid buffs making the grind easier (very much so for tanking making use of the AoE stun with blade turning)
2. All Mantrid in that zone have a small chance to drop Dread Amber Shards which can be turned in for rep Seeds of Fear for 250 rep a pop.

Neutral to Honored with the Black Prince

I repped with the Black Prince in a slightly different fashion from what's already been mentioned. For those of you who haven't finished questing in Dread Wastes, I'd strongly suggest not completing the Kypari Zar quest. After accepting the quest from Korven the Prime and clicking the Sonar Tower, he asks you to defend him from incoming waves of Ik'thik Towerguards while he does his thing. The idea is to kill the mobs, abandon the quest, restart it, click the tower, and keep on bashing bugs. Here's some info on how and why:

The Towerguards have a shy 60k health and grant the same rep as any regular 300k mob in the Dread Wastes. They come in three waves; 2 at first, 4 in the second and 6 in the last, granting a total of 120-168 reputation every full cycle of mobs, depending on whether you have Diplomacy as a human, and your Battle Standard of Cooperation on constant CD. The mobs will always try to kill Korven unless you attack them, and with ~4 million health there's just no way he'll drop.

To make things as fast and smooth as possible with spawns and reputation flow, wait until the third and final wave of adds spawns. As soon as you see them, abandon the current quest and pick it up again (you can do this from Korven while he's busy channelling the tower). You won't be able to activate the tower again until Korven's done with it, but once it says that you've successfully defended him, just click the tower again and more mobs will come.

Hope this made sense to everyone interested, and that you find it useful. The only drawback is that you don't get any loot from these guys. ;)

You can grind rep from various mobs off of this guy, but I'm not sure at this point why you would even need to. All of the dailies available as a fresh 90 involve killing Mantid and Mogu - just doing basic dailies has gotten my most of the way towards Honored without even really thinking about this particular rep faction. Moreover, you can't do anything with the rewards at this point in time (just post-MOP release) since you need a Sha-Touched weapon, which you can't get until Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring open a month from now.

For anyone wanting to do a swath of multitasking - killing Mogu in the vale of eternal blossoms will give you Black Prince reputation, Skyshard drops and a chance at Guo-lai keys, allowing you to simultaneously farm up to honored with the Black Prince, a rare mount and Golden Lotus reputation at the same time.

Fangs Rogues get instant to Honored when they enter the tavern where Wrathion is at. Prior to turning in this quest you can't gain rep with him, so we instantly cap out on farm reputation. As players start out on 2800/3000 neutral, gained rep upon interaction is 6200.

Surprisingly, both guild perks and human Diplomacy seem to affect this gain: after completing the drink quest it seems my rep ended up at 1270/12000 Honored (max possible as of now). This means I gained a total of 7470 instead of 6200 rep, 30 from the drink and 7440 from interacting with Wrathion: 7440 / 6200 = 1.2.

In short, after the drink quest non-humans Fang rogues with the guild perk end up at 6200 * 1.1 + 27.5 = 6847 = 847/12000, human Fang rogues with the guild perk at 6200 * 1.2 + 30 = 7270 = 1270/12000.

Using the method that Bulo wrote I did the following:

As a Holy Pally, I pulled about 4 Illusionist's and just sat there healing myself. The Spirit Fragments would spawn and then despawn so they can attack again and everytime that happened I got 11-12 rep per fragment. So every 15-20 sec I was getting about 176-192 rep. I got my rep in about 12min for the 6K I needed.

You can kill two birds with one stone and go tag a bunch of the Sra'thik guys in the square at Niuzao Temple and let Niuzao trample them as he runs around the square. I got 12 rep per. This is also what you need to do to get the Yak Attack achieve.

The best way to grind rep for The Black Prince faction is abusing the quest The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy!

Collect bombs and drop them on mantids for ~1200 rep a run. Abandon quest, go back to Shado-Pan Garrison, re acquire it, rinse and repeat. Just need to collect more oils, which isn't too difficult.

If you going to do Golden Lotus and/or Shado Pan dailies, then you don't need to grind this rep... You will get to honored way before collecting sigils.

You will get to honored if you want to max your Klaxxi/Golden Lotus rep. Don't bother specificially grinding just for the legendary questline, that'll only end you up having to wait for the sigils anyway.

A cheezy way of doing this is waiting until you have the quest The Secrets of Guo-Lai.
Upon entering the Guo-Lai Vault with He Softfoot at your side, you both can grind this easily.

When the jade statues become active, mow them down. (You need to score at least 1 hit on each mob or the rep won't count - so you can't just stand back and let He Softfoot do all the work for you!)

Then, when He Softfoot gets caught in the grip of the Colossus, run out of the room.

Rinse and repeat as many times as you need!

As of the 25/10 hotfix, the Crumbling Jade Warriors no longer give any reputation.

One decent way i found to farm rep with a warrior is during the quest Unleashed Spirits drop a Battle Standard of Coordination and you can go all day with Impending Victory/Victory Rush. I did it on the ramp to the top tier and they all drop 2.5 rep.

I just went to Shan'ze Dao to finish my rep up to Honored, and it seems the Illusionists *are* granting rep beyond that point, although the Quilen *do not*...

Guo-Lai Halls is DEFINITELY the best spot to farm this faction.

Call a friend, take the quests (the Golden Lotus daily quests are random, they may or may not lead you to this place. If you try to farm this without the quests it'll be a little bit harder since there will be Mogu everywhere inside the Halls) enter Guo-Lai Halls and kill these Quillen statues.

They respawn instantaneously. If you have your guild banner, don't forget to drop it every 15 minutes.

5.0 Quest Series

Pick up Stranger in a Strange Land and Mysterious Note from Teng Firebrew. then find Wrathion in The Veiled Stair and share a drink: A Legend in the Making. Wrathion stayed true to his Cataclysm promise to explore new lands and senses a major disturbance between Alliance and Horde forces coming. He pledges to aid whichever faction you belong to.
The Strength of One's Foes: Collect 10 Sigil of Power and 10 Sigil of Wisdom from raid bosses in the Mogu'shan Vaults, Heart of Fear, or Terrace of Endless Spring.
- Players pick up Trial of the Black Prince at the same time to get Honored with The Black Prince by killing level 90 Mogu and Mantid--unless you're a rogue that has completed Fangs of the Father.
- Fear Itself: Defeat the Sha of Fear in the Terrace of Endless Spring and acquire the Chimera of Fear.
- Breath of the Black Prince: Legendary ilvl 513 gems.
  Quest rewards are +500 stat gems: Crystallized Horror, Crystallized Dread, Crystallized Terror. These can be placed in weapons with "Sha-Touched" flavor text.
- Incoming... implies that the legendary chain continues in 5.1, where the Alliance and Horde will set up encampments in Krasarang Wilds and the faction conflict will escalate. And with four Wrathion-related achievements, Chapter I: Trial of the Black Prince shows that getting a gem upgrade is only the beginning.

5.1 Quest Series

The Measure of a Leader: Speak with Wrathion at the Tavern in the Mists.

The Prince's Pursuit: Kill Horde forces along the southern shores of Krasarang Wilds until you are Revered with the Black Prince.

Looks like this rep is active again but you can't get it from the Dread Wastes anymore. I have been getting it off the new daily mobs in Krasarang Wilds so you will have hordes of people to compete with due to the dailies located there.

Rep grind, after the Landfall patch on 11/27/2012 - for Alliance:

After the latest patch, rep with the Black Prince can be increased to Revered. The last kill that grants rep beyond Honored will give credit for the full amount. Thus, I'm now at 17/21,000 -- but it stops there.

The new PvP area in Krasarang Wilds is the spot for grinding this rep. You will earn it simply by doing the dailies there (as you will be kiling mobs), but if you want to grind it out to Revered quickly (like I did), then here's a bit of information.

I went to 80,27 in the zone and dropped Battle Standard of Coordination for the 15% rep bonus.

Then I put on my Celebration Package for the extra 8% rep gain.

Then you just tag and kill as fast as you can. Most of the time, the alliance NPC soldiers will be assisting you, and the bombing of the beach will also kill the mobs quickly (sometimes, faster than you can tag them).

The degree of difficulty will vary based on your class / gear / etc. I'm a warlock, so I switched to Destruction Spec so I could have AoE with Rain of Fire. I also spec'ed into Mannoroth's Fury just for the extra range of the AoE.

Basically, I would spam Rain of Fire, then alternate between using Harvest Life and healing up my pet.

With this method, I received 27 rep per kill, and reached honored in about 30 minutes. However, my grind lasted a total of 53 minutes, and yielded some decent loot -- making this a decent farming spot for more than just rep.

Below is a list of all items looted during the 53 minute grind:

652 Domination Point Commission badges
174 gold
20 gold from vendored items
92 pieces of Windwool Cloth
2 Ghost Iron Lockboxes
19 green items to be disenchanted
25 Mote of Harmony
Various vegetables (didn't keep track of these -- maybe 20 or 30 total)
1 blue BoE item Fist of Fate

I also died twice during this time, but didn't have to waste time running back as soulstone was up.

Anyway, I just wanted to share the experience -- not only for the rep grind, but also for the loot that drops. Enjoy.

In Patch 5.1 Horde and Alliance come to Krasarang Wilds to battle for dominion in Pandaria. That opens up a new series of daily quests that involve killing the NPCs of the opposing faction, but each normal mob also gives 20 base reputation with The Black Prince (until you hit Revered).

Assuming you benefit from a guild reputation perk Mr. Popularity and have a guild banner (Horde: Battle Standard of Coordination, Alliance: Battle Standard of Coordination), each mob rewards you with 25 reputation.

To go from Honored to Revered, you need 12,000 reputation, which mean you need to kill 480 of these mobs. Since they only have a bit less than 400k health, and your own faction' NPCs are battling them, they drop down pretty fast.

A decent geared Shadow Priest (iLvl 483) is able to kill one mob in ~10 seconds, which means the jump from Honored to Revered is actually only 1.5 hours of grinding.

Farming rep from Honored to Revered is dead easy if you help kill the opposing mobs on the beach at Sparkrocket Outpost in Krasarang Wilds west of Lion's Landing (around 80.0, 25.0). The best time to do this is when one of the daily quests is available that involve killing the opposing faction on the beach.

For Alliance these are Dominance Grunts and Dominance Shaman. They are very easy to kill if you let the NPC soldiers do most of the work. All you need do is cast an instant damage spell on all nearby mobs when their health is very low just before they die. Many of them will even get one-shot by incoming fireballs, but as long as you get some damage in first you get the rep credit. I quickly went from the bottom end of Honored to Revered in about 2 hours.

If you are interested in looting them as well, then you will need to do more than a token amount of damage for each kill. They are worth looting for Mote of Harmony, Windwool Cloth, hundreds of Domination Point Commission medallions, some vegetables, and even a dozen Greens that vendor for a tidy sum of gold.

Best way I've found to farm Black Prince rep is to pick up the daily The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy!. Use the Highly Explosive Yaungol Oil to kill the multitudes of Kri'thik Aggressor or Kri'thik Screecher found in the area. Each kill grants 10 rep or 15 rep (11 or 16.5 with guild perk). and you can get up to 15 kills with one barrel (there's an achievement for it). Once you have completed the quest, you cannot pick up the Highly Explosive Yaungol Oil anymore, so you have to abandon and reaccept the quest.

Edit: Only works until honored. :(

As of patch 5.1.0 I find it easiest to farm rep from honored to revered at Lions Landing in Krasarang Wilds. There's tons of mobs on the beach and they all give 27-28 rep per kill (as human with guild banner). Super easy to kill in packs.

I stopped doing dailies again once I hit honored with Shieldwall. As alliance, a good place I found to farm rep to Revered was off of the bilgewater sappers at 77, 18 in Krasarang. Theyre easy to chain pull and respawn very fast. I went from ~1000 into honored to revered in 45 mins with no rep buffs.

I have looked through all these threads but I have seen no one mention how we can get this rep from revered to exalted. Is this something that will come in a future patch (ex. 5.2+) or can it only be done completing raids?

If you plan on getting to exalted with Shieldwall/Dominance Offensive it's unnecessary to actually grind this rep as you will get to Revered via the mobs you kill during the dailies. I actually didn't realise I was getting Black Prince reputation from them until I saw myself ding Revered.

The best possible way to grind until revered is the warfront beach near Lion's Landing's Tower for either alliance or horde. There are so many damaged units, aoe heaven spots, allied npc help (with aggro and damage) and high respawn points that I was able to get to revered from honored in less than a half-hour as a freaking holy priest! Just be careful of pulling too much or you'll be cut down fast as a cloth or leather-user. My strategy was to use shadow word: pain once and nothing else, per mob, which did not aggro those already attacking an allied npc, yet let me get rep when they died! For others not yet aggro'ed, I aoe'ed them to the side where I wouldn't pull any more that respawned in the middle (so I wouldn't die). Very efficient.

Another way of grinding rep for The Black Prince is by killing mantid at the Niuzao temple by using Niuzao when he patrols around the temple. Of course, he has to be patrolling. It depends on the dailies you have. I'm not sure but i think he patrols when this quest appears The Siege Swells.
If you are a tank, you can easily pull 10+ mantids and just wait for Niuzao to kill them.
The lesser mantid gives 10 reputation and the kunchong gives 15 reputation.
It works well from Friendly to Honored. Reputation gained stops after you hit Honored.

For Alliance players, the absolute best way to grind rep to revered is in the mine where Hilda Hornswaggle offers her daily quests. The very bottom level, where you usually complete the quest Eviction Notice, is full of ultra-fast respawning Reliquary mobs that award 22 reputation per kill and Commanders that offer 33 reputation per kill.

Obviously if you're on a PvP server you don't want to do it on a day when those are the dailies, as Horde port in down there, but on other days no-one is around and it's a quick way to grind easy rep.

I did the 8,000 rep I needed in less than 40 minutes, putting the rep per hour that can be gained at somewhere around 12,000. I was on my own and there were always plenty of mobs up; in a group the yield of reputation per hour would be exponentially greater.

Alliance: Grinding Rep to Revered

Along the first barricade at the beach near Lion's Landing, where the horde hero spawns (79.1 27.3), roughly 6-8 Dominance grunts spawn, run forward, and die to scripted catapult shots. These grunts can be tagged with a single auto-attack, giving rep when they die automatically. Makes it as easy as sitting back and watching the ~22 rep each build up.

However, it is only possible on days that the Shieldwall dailies are at the beach.

I go to the Niuzao temple and tag a bunch of the mobs and drag them in front of Niuzao and he whipes all the mobs out in one hit and I get 11 rep per mob. He wont whipe the elites (in one swipe) but but he will take out as many swiftclaws in one go as you can handle.

Havnt tried it in a group but if you had a bad ass tank you could probably get ALOT of these guys in one pull and just have Niuzao do his thing.

As of 5.2, Killing "Animated Warriors" @ on Thunder King Isle gives 54-55rep normally...w/guild banner 63-64rep with Black Prince...in 1hr i got 9k rep and went from reveared to exalted as a Hunter.

It's worth noting that the only way to obtain Black Prince rep once you reach Revered is to kill mobs on the Isle of Thunder.

Earning exalted alone with The Black Prince, will not gain you access to the Blacktalon Quartermaster <Supplier to the Black Prince> standing next to him. You must complete the legendary questline as well.

One way to work through exalted on the isle of thunder is to repeatedly kill the Zandalari Colossus and Arcweaver Jor'guva on the isle of thunder. They each give 100 rep (before guild perk/banner/human racial), have very fast respawn rates (by the time you're done killing one, the other has spawned), and they are very close to each other. Just go back and forth and you can gain 200+ rep per minute. If you kill them grouped with a guildie you can drop a guild banner at each site and gain rep faster.

The spawn rate of them is fast enough that, as an assassination rogue, I was able to refresh slice and dice with an envenom on the next mob of the cycle without ever having to manually apply it after the initial one.

This may be old news but you can grind from revered to exalted by killing Mogu (or any mobs) on Isle of Thunder. It looks like Shan'ze Animators give approx. 200 rep per kill so it's pretty quick to get to exalted (although the adds sometimes complicate matters).

At 49,64 on the Isle of Thunder there's a corner where Animated Warriors pat towards NPC Veterans that are friendly (at least to me) and helped pull them down. The warriors are worth about 63 rep with my guild battle standard, they keep coming on their own, NPCs help and it's just overall a great spot to farm.

The easiest and fastest way to get rep in Black Prince to revered is to do the Kirin Tor solo instance, the 2nd part that Jaina gives. Right in front of the gate that goes to "The Thunder Forges and Stormsea Landing", trolls continue to spawn and as human I get 30 rep per kill and there are 4 NPCs that help as well. I was able to get to revered from 4000 honored in less than 25 mins of grind. No opposite faction players to deal with, no need to wait around for mobs to spawn, fast and easy.

The best way, in my opinion, to gain reputation (to Honored) is when Master Snowdrift (Shado-Pan) offers The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy!. This daily requires the player to grab explosive oil from the Gai-Cho camp in the mountains and drop it on the creatures at the bottom of the hill.

The mobs at the bottom of the hill reward eleven (11) to seventeen (17) reputation per kill. The player is given credit for dropping this oil on the mobs. Therefore, this is probably the fastest way to gain the reputation with the Black Prince (up to Honored). Note, once you reach the quest criteria, you can no longer obtain the explosive oil. You can abandon the quest, pick it up, and return to the camp to grab extra oil. Unfortunately, Master Snowdrift is the only NPC to offer this quest and you can't pick it up from your Shado-Pan companion. :(

One of the best places to farm for this rep is to go to Stormsea Landing in Isle of Thunder and AOE down the pack of mobs near the center of the area. The mob density is big and consists mostly of Conscripts (300k HP App.) that grant 30x rep (with the guild banner) and Zandalari Spirit Twisters (800k HP App) that grant 40x rep. The idea with this strategy is to place the banner near the lower part of the ramp, that way you'll get the buff everywhere you go in the area.

This was the most effective way (at least for me) to farm from Rev to Ex, the respawn time is short and you can kill the mobs in the ship, there's one quest mob that'll give you 55 rep and has a really short respawn time, less than a minute iirc. It took me around 1.5hrs to go from 12k revered to exalted.

The saurok packs in the Ihgaluk Crag were the fastest way from revered to exalted as a tank with low single target damage. Spent five seconds traveling between packs of 5-12 Skumblade Filthmongers giving 25 rep and the odd Skumblade Brute giving 100. Respawn rate was about the time it took to kill two packs. Gathering mobs will be a little less efficient if you've done Skin of the Saurok.

How to get 15.000 Reputation per Hour

Go to the Isle of Thunder - more specific the zone of the Zandalari Bloodguard(click name to see map)
set your Battle Standard of Coordination somewhere centrel for more Rep
Pull huge groups of mobs with lots of Zandalari Bloodguard - They make Ragezone you do 50% more damage and get 50% more per Zone (made 700k noncrit hits as a warrior tank and sometimes had to use cd's to survive)
Don't die and kill the mobs - if you cant solo them make a group the Reputation dosen't split (solo possible as tank)

Reputation per mob: 25rep | 27.5 with Mr. Popularity | 30.25 with Battle Standard of Coordination

I also managed to make 1300G/Hour there without Greater Potion of Luck and you may get more if you sell some nice looking pieces because some of the pieces that don't drop in the revamped ZG/ZA drop there.

In case you guys are still wondering on how to farm reputation with The Black Prince faction fast like me, The best place to farm is Diremoor on Isle of Thunder. Go to the co-ordinates . There you will find Animated Warrior continuously spawning. Each kill gives 55 reputation with The Black Prince faction. Moreover you can kill Shan'ze Animator which gives 41 reputation. I found it very east to farm.

I grinded Friendly to Honored 3600-6000 in about 30mins killing the Zandalari Beast Handlers?(Masters?) cant remember the name but anyway they give 40 odd rep per kill in between killing the conscripts which give close to 30 per kill its an easy way to grind :)

If you haven't finished the Shado-Pan Exalted quest Surprise Attack!, this is one of the best spots I have found to farm Black Prince reputation. Once you pick up the quest, Mogu (a lot of Mogu) continuously spawn on the bridge in Townlong Steppes, by the Shado-Pan Garrison (Coords roughly 46.2 68.6). It's 10 reputation per kill before bonuses, but given how many there are and how tightly packed they are, it's relatively easy to just mow them down with the Shado-Pan Blackguards helping.

Side note: As far as I can tell, you cannot access the Quartermaster after completing the previous quest (Mogu Incursions), I suggest picking up what you want beforehand.

Just be wary of pulling too much aggro, and happy farming!

as stated previously, the reputation is mainly earned from killing opposite faction NPCs at the krasarang shores, as stated in the quest description, but on thunder isle you also have the privilege to gain reputation by killing a handful of mobs, and as stated its without question at if you have the addon for coordinates. around that location you will find some pandaren defenders, that will kill anything hostile coming close enough to them. Animated warriors will come at them on a regular basis, and they got the manpower and the stamina for it. If you pull anything and everything you can find in addition to this, and take your taunted bunch of misfits to them, they will kill it for you, if you do at lest any damage to them. the only thing you have to do is "taunt" and "kite", "taunt", and "kite, and so on. I managed to get about 10k reputation in under 30 minutes with an undergeared dwarf protection paladin (and thats without a banner of any of the sort), so it should not take long for anyone to figure out how to do this without taking almost any damage. You will get 55 reputation for some, 45 for some, and the numbers will add up very fast. Hope this is any help to anyone!

Fast Black Prince rep

Pickup Battle Standard of Coordination head to Conquerer's Terrace on Isle of Thunder

Drop Battle Standard of Coordination in a central area between Guardian Tak'u and Spiritbinder Tu'chek

These two npc's spawn very fast. (about a minuted after death) If you are geared around 520ilvl you can kill both quickly

Guardian Tak'u gives 126 rep for black prince. 131 with standard
Spiritbinder Tu'chek gives 55 rep for black prince 64 with standard

the four priest that suround Guardian Tak'u proved 41 rep with standard.

I managed to kill at least 3 before he spawned each time and managed to kill all mobs in about a minutes time.

19,080 rep/hour
Keep doing this over and over, replacing battle standard when complete. You wont ever wait on mobs.

Even if you're only at 496 gear you would still probably nail down at least 12k rep/hour. Get from friendly to exhalted in 3-4 hours time.

I found that in Diremoor on The Isle of Thunder, around the center is a court full of stone Mogu Called "Animated Warriors" , There is an area in which four Shado Pan (Two Marksmen, a Mage and a Tank) are fighting these mobs, You can find them at one of the corners of the Court depending on what way you are coming from: 41.4, 54.6

The Animated Warriors give 55 Black Prince Reputation and it took me under an hour to reach Revered. I also got money Plenty of, Windwool Cloth, multiple green items, and alot of lesser charms of good fortune.

Another good thing about the area is if you die, the grave is RIGHT next to the spot so it takes less then 5 seconds to run back.

Do be careful, there is a patrol group with a Drakkari God Hulk and they hit rather hard.

Can confirm that a party of 5 around diremoor can grind around 12,000 rep per hour regarding they don't get distracted PVPing the other faction.

i suggest dropping a battle standard in the middle of diremoor near the building smack dab in the middle they do 40 rep per normally and spawn fast you can drop mobs of a few at a time no issue with guild battle standard it is pretty quick if you had a group with a healer you could have one player aggro a bunch and drag them middle and aoe nuke em coods 41.6, 54.3

I haven't seen this mentioned, but I was able to go from Honored to Revered in about an hour and a half on my Shadow Priest at the quarry northwest of Lion's Landing, about 77,19, just south of Zhu Watch.

The Bilgewater Sappers there are easy to take out, and they give 27-28 reputation each if you have the Guild Battle Standard of Coordination.

There are 3 levels to the quarry. I planted my flag on the middle level, and just went around in circles until I had it. The respawn rate is fast - once you've completed a circuit, they're ready and waiting again.

Do you have to apply the gem and Eye of the Black Prince to a Sha-Touched weapon, or can you complete the quest line (ie. get the cape) without ever looting one of the weapons?

Arcweaver Jor'guva on Isle of Thunder gives 110 rep points per kill, for those seeking rep with the Black Prince. 241 rep points with the Battle Standard of Coordination while the Gaze of the Black Prince buff is up. He could be at approximately /way 44.29 68.

I'm not sure if you need to have the quest Competing Magic or not, but he can be killed multiple times for rep at least wit the quest in the log.

Just FYI with the new 100% Black Prince rep boost and a 15% guild banner rep gain, each kill of the Animated Warriors on Thunder King isle, now gives 120-121 rep per kill, easy grind now, went from honored to revered in like 15 mins.

So, I had 49 reputations at exalted when I decided to grind out the Black Prince. Took a few hours to get there, but was watching closely. I knew there was no achievement for hitting exalted, but it never gave me the 50 reputations achievement either. Does the Black Prince faction not count for that?

I got 10k rep in 17 minutes with a group of 5. This has been posted before but most of those posts are from earlier patches therefore a bit down the page. We were spread out in Diremoor where all the statues are. Animated Warrior gives 120 rep each with Mr. Popularity and Gaze of the Black Prince. Worth noting that at each corner of the courtyard there is a group of Shado-Pan NPCs fighting these and the Animated Warriors spawns in bigger waves here, sometimes 6 simontainously. One of these Shado-Pan camps can be found at /way 41.4, 54.6
