This macro allows you to cast
on a raid member in your frames by purely hovering over his raid frame. If you are not hovering with your mouse over any friendly target you are casting

This macro allows you to have
function similar to what it was before as it cancels the current
you have out and casts another one. You will have this macro in conjunction with a non macro version of
that recreates the function of this talent from previous expansions.
How to Make a Macro
To open up the Macro menu, type "/macro" or "/m".
Choose between the "General" and Character-specific macro tabs. Then click on the "New" button on the macro window.
Choose a Name and an Icon so you can easily recognize your macro, then click on "Okay."
Select your macro's icon from the list at the top of the macro window, and then click in the text area below. Type or copy/paste your macro into the text area.
When you are finished, click the "Save" button, and to close the window, click "Exit".
BossMods: BossMods are addons that show you timer of upcoming boss abilities and make noices if you stand in fire. You can choose between Deadly Boss Mods and BigWigs. I would recommend BigWigs.
WeakAuras 2: WeakAuras 2 is an allround addon that lets you track buffs, debuffs or dots and a lot of other things. You can even make a rage bar for example. I highly recommend it. You can easily import auras from other players.

Damage meter: Skada or Details are the perfect addons to let you check the damage you and your raid member do. These addons are also useful to track interrupts, dispels or deaths.
Dot timer: There are a handful of addons that let you track your dot duration on the enemy target. I use Weak Auras and
Download UI: If you don't want to make your own UI you can also download UI packages. I have two recommendations:
ElvUI: ElvUI is a replacement for the standard Blizzard UI that is very easily to configure and a lot of high-end raiders are using.
Not UI: If you want to see it in action you are free to visit my stream or simply go to
for instructions on how to get my UI.
I can also recommend the Curse Client to keep your Addons up to date.
WeakAuras on Wowhead
WeakAuras is a handy addon that flashes a useful alert onto your screen related to important abilities--cooldowns, durations, etc. However, it can be tricky to configure especially if you're new to it, so we've set up basic Weak Aura customizations for every player spell, including intelligent default auras.
Just visit a spell page (
) and click on the red "WeakAuras Export" button to open the panel up. Click "Copy" for our default aura, or "Customize" to easily change your alerts!
