This is one of the buildings that will be introduced with the Garrison in Warlords of Draenor expansion pack. This is the second level of 3, with 1 more upgrade available.

This will very useful for players with the Skinning, cooking, and first aid skills, and has the following abilities for each level:
Level 1: Produces leather, meat, cloth, and grants access to new provision missions.
Level 2: Now stores up to two days of agricultural goods.
Level 3: Unlocks Specializations, and capacity increases to four days of agricultural goods.
This can only be placed on a medium lot.

Other buildings that can be placed on a medium lot include:
Lunarfall Inn / Frostwall Tavern Level 1
Lumber Mill Level 1
Trading Post Level 1

Level 2 Barn offers:

The use of Improved Iron Trap to trap certain Draenor wildlife under 50% health.

Placing up to 14 work orders; it takes four hours for one work order to complete. A work order requires one:

Furry Caged Beast, acquired by trapping talbuk or wolf - produces some Sumptuous Fur
Leathery Caged Beast, acquired by trapping clefthoof or elekk - produces some Raw Beast Hide
Meaty Caged Beast, acquired by trapping boar or riverbeast - produces some Savage Feast

You can also assign a follower with Skinning trait to the building. Doing so increases the work order yield (affected by the follower level).

Some nifty tricks with traps:

Currently you can lay down two traps (lay the second after the cd) and gain two Leathery Caged Beast or Furry Caged Beast for every beast you catch.

If you lay a trap on top of someone else's trap, you will each gain a caged beast for every beast. You do not even need to tag the mob and they do not need to be in your party. There does not seem to be a limit on how many can be stacked.

So far, the best place I found to farm the caged beasts for leather work orders are those Tamed Clefthooves near the Gorian Beast-Lasher from the stables mount-in-training quests in Nagrand, to the south of the Ring of Trials, since they respawn real fast, once you trap all of them. This place is good for the skinners too I think, even to level it up. Coords > 78.2, 72.1 (Nagrand).

Oddly enough, one cannot have a mount (or druid travel form) inside of their Barn Level 1 (all levels), yet all pets seem welcome at the Lunarfall Inn / Frostwall Tavern Level 1 (all levels).

Ok, time for a question.
I see that barn workorders are divided up amongst all the different types (I.E. Fur, Leather, Meat) Do they run concurrently or in sequence? Will I get the meat workorder after the 5 fur workorders have been completed?

What isn't mentioned ANYWHERE and should be everywhere is that you need to go to the barn and pick up a new trap each time you want to go out and get some caged beasts. I had an old one on my toolbar and it wasn't working. Don't forget to get a new trap each time you go farming. Dumb rule really
