It's only two points per kill, but if you're holding the fang right at the back of your base, you're only getting one point per tick, so two points per kill can be more significant than you might think.

Seems like Trion is making at least some move to ameliorate the problems of lolmiddlefight. And I honestly don't think incentivizing it will make it much worse. Players who understand how the war front works will continue to play it correctly, and players who were always going to run in circles zerging the middle for no reason will still always do that, but at least they'll be mildly useful.Comment by 466717I wish I could contribute. I've tried every day since Tuesday to download the client. There is always something wrong.

First was the super long download. Started in the evening so that I would be done by the time I woke up. When I did wake up, I was surprised to se it still had 56 hours to download.

After reading some comments on their boards, I decided to try again the next night. I don't remember the error message, but it failed.

Next night, it said that I only had 8.02 GB of space for the 8.6 GB I needed. So I cleaned up.

Last night, I let it download for a little bit before walking away. No problems, 7 hour download time. I wake up this morning and I had just a flat out message that said it failed.

I'm more interested in PVE-related content at higher levels, which I realize is hard to cover with beta / limited time.
