Congratulations, you hate the game cause you dislike some of the terrain looking the same. Every single game in the world does it, not just WoW, not just MMOs, and it doesn't matter what year it was released.Also, FYI, I'm pretty sure this breaks NDA. Square Enix states that even after the game is released, anything under NDA in beta remains under NDA, and players cannot post videos about it.
Maybe wow isn't so bad...
He's not kidding about the distance you run. It truly is like getting your first quest in Northshire Abbey, which is actually out in Westfall, completing the quest and running back to Northshire. The only thing that makes it bearable is the ability to teleport from crystal to crystal by spending "anima points". You start out with 100, each teleport costs 4-8 points and they regenerate (albeit slowly). Having to teleport back and forth between cities and settlements gets very old, though.

The advantage with WoW, is that blizzard went cartoonish way. That way, even if graphics get somewhat outdated, it is not really apparent.
This video totally made me want to play WoW more.(Besides, I can pretend my Hawkstrider is a chocobo )
Game looks great visually.Combat looks very uninspiring, all that walking has got to suck and some of the noises / dumping players in the game without a clue on the other hand, not so much. 11+ Terrain features copy / pasted? HO-LY-@#$%! That is a lot of repeated terrain.Also, Asian chicks with Cat features? Color me surprised. Course that didn't stop you from doing it.
