Heh, Akama and Maiev.

Bolvar's expression is "I need some moisturizer."

Heh, Akama and Maiev.

It's kinda funny they decided to spotlight those characters specifically for Outland considering there's not really any reason to care about Illidan anymore... or is there!(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##Miyari##DELIM##

EK: Sylvanas, Mekkatorque and Varian look great.
Kalimdor: Garrosh, the goblin, Tyrande and Velen look great. Is that Baine?
NR: SO TERRIBLE IT HURTS
OL: Meh, more recognizable lore characters would have been better, like the old one.

Velen looks tank.

Also, Bolvar is like "I swear, it was THIS BIG!"

PS. His mouth is open, look closely

They made the leaders and lore characters look tougher then they actually are... heres cake *gives cake*

EDIT:

i bet bolvar will return in cata :)

ya sure he will, because we ALL known the frozen throne WAS merely a setback.

They put Garrosh's glove and the skull on the wrong sides.

... Why does Varian always stand like that in pictures? Is that the only pose he knows?

"Yah, yah, get my good side."

Thrall is a little busy saving the entire world, he cannot be bothered to attend loading screens :P Garrosh is more fitting for it, him being the current leader of the orcs. Plus, you have to admit, he does look badass in here.

Well, now that Bolvar is in the new Northrend loading screen... Will all the events that previously featured Arthas be edited as well? I'm pretty sure that newbies are going to be very confused otherwise.

Plus, I really want to see more of Bolvar, Arthas has become so terribily overused... And that was even before WoW!

They're all amazingly well-done. Absolutely love Blizzard's artwork. It was a splash of cold water to the face though, to be reminded of our accomplishments. Sure, we can grab some friends and play around in BT or TK, I imagine many of us have yet to even confront Arthas, and he'll be in ICC long after Cataclysm is released. These loading screens, however, will be a blunt reminder to lore-heavy players that some of the biggest figures in Warcraft history are gone from Azeroth forever!

...unless, it was just a setback...

seriously where is thrall?
did he die or something?
pls someone tell me

"Deepholm, the earth domain of the Elemental Plane, is yet another zone with a conflict whose resolution threatens to obliterate all Azeroth. When Deathwing emerged from Deepholm directly into Azeroth, he sundered the World Pillar - a column of stone that supports the entire realm of earth. And unless it is repaired quickly, neither Thrall's, nor the Earthen Ring's efforts to hold the rift together will be enough to prevent Deepholm from crashing into Azeroth and all but destroying both worlds. The players' journey will start in either Orgrimmar or Stormwind, where they will be send through a portal directly to the Maelstrom. There Thrall will instruct them to fly through the rift in the giant whirlpool and into Deepholm. The Earthen Ring will take control there, and players will have to eventually earn the respect of Therazane the Stonemother, ruler of the earth itself."

He also can be seen elsewhere... he takes an unexpected detour en-route to the Maelstrom.
