Edit: Now we know. A transformation item that is going to be used primarily for bragging rights as it's model is already widely used elsewhere so it won't be adding much novelty. Now if it was an item that turned you into a MOUNT which flew around like Ironman, well, then we'd really be on to something.

I can report from the PTR that the reward for this achievement "appears" to turn you into a clockwork gnome as per it's description. It has a 1 hour cooldown a 10 minute duration. I have NOT been able to actually test it however as I don't have nearly enough toys yet, nor can I even copy my actual char over to PTR.

I've caught myself looking, but does someone happen to have a printable checklist I could print out and keep track of what I still need to find for this one? I've used the item database search, but it gives pics too, just need a non pic, printer friendly version of it ;-)

Going for this achievement can be a pain if you are like me and destroyed many of your toys because of bag space being an issue. With that said, I pointed out some "easy to find/get" toys to help you get the achievements quicker. As I find more “easy to find toys,” I will update this post.

First stop is Toy Vendors

Blax Bottlerocket - This goblin walks up and down The Drag in Orgrimmar pushing a cart. He sells 7 toys in total (Horde)

Next stop is The Valley of the Four Winds

Flippable Table sold by Nam Ironpaw for 40 Ironpaw Token. He is located Halfhill in Valley of the Four Winds. Most get their Ironpaw tokens from doing the daily quests in this zone, but a quicker way of doing this is surely the way to go. There is a repeatable quest called Replenishing the Pantry that awards you with 1 Ironpaw token and a small amount of gold. You buy empty containers from Merchant Cheng in Halfhill for 1 gold 50 silver. You turn these into aBundle of Groceries by adding various meats, fish, or vegetables. On most servers Raw Turtle Meat, Raw Tiger Steak, and Mushan Ribs are the most affordable, and you only need 20 of them. Sometimes you can find cheap fish, but stay away from Golden Carp because you have to turn in 60 of them. After you have filled your bags by right clicking them, go back to Nam Ironpaw to complete the quest. Do this 40 times and you’ll enjoy flipping tables!

While you are in Halfhill, you can pick up:

Gin-Ji Knife Set and Pandaren Scarecrow sold by Gina Mudclaw for 200 gold each. I thought there used to be a discount for being best friends with her, but I do not appear to be getting that discount as of 6.0.3.

Head over to Nesingwary’s Safari which is in the southwest part of The Valley of Four Winds

Foxicopter Controller and Stackable Stag are sold by Sally Fizzlefury for 1,000 gold each. A bit pricey, but two more closer to the achievement!

Darkmoon Island is the place to go!

Darkmoon Island while Darkmoon Faire is in town will provide some toys. It's not just about heirlooms, transmogs, and companions anymore. There are a few toys that are easily obtained. You can either grind out the daily quests for Darkmoon Prize Ticket, or be lazy like me and buy Banner of the Fallen, Monstrous Egg, Fallen Adventurer's Journal, Ornate Weapon, Captured Insignia, Mysterious Grimoire, A Treatise on Strategy, Imbued Crystal, and Soothsayer's Runes that allows you to get 80 Darkmoon Prize Tickets once the quests are turned in. Do this on two separate characters that are 85+, added with a few dailies and you will have enough currency for:

Haunting Memento sold by Chester for 90 Darkmoon Prize Ticket
Darkmoon Whistle sold by Gelvas Grimegate for 90 Darkmoon Prize Ticket

You can also buy Flimsy Yellow Balloon from Carl Goodup for 10 silver assuming you do not have any discounts. He pushes a cart up and down the lower path of Darkmoon Island as far as just before the fishing dock (*thank you lilsniff for this information to be added*)

Blazing Wings is awarded by completing the achievement Brood of Alysrazor. You have to fly through 50 rings in one session of flying. Ziggie Sparks will let you fly for the price of 1 Darkmoon Game Token

*note* If you chose to do the dailies, you have a small chance to get the Darkmoon Whistle from Darkmoon Game Prize that is awarded for the dailies.

Something to be aware of -

I got lucky and had several Tol Barad Commendation’s and Champion's Seal’s that I didn’t even know about. Hopefully you will have the same luck because there are more toys to be had!

Tol Barad here we come!

Tol Barad Searchlight is sold by Pogg in Tol Barad Peninsula for 40 Tol Barad Commendation (Horde)
Tol Barad Searchlight is sold by Quartermaster Brazie in Tol Barad Peninsula for 40 Tol Barad Commendation (Alliance)

If you do not have any of these commendations, don't worry. Assuming your faction has control over Tol Barad, you have 12 daily quests that can be completed here. This is not including the Victory in Tol Barad. Either way, you should only have to knock out 4 days of dailies to get this toy.

If you do not have any Champion Seal’s, this will be a loooong – boring – exhausting grind of endless dailies.

If you happen to be among the lucky ones, or not, stop by The Storm Peaks, which isn’t too far away. There you will find Ancient Relics (Horde) or Ancient Relics (Alliance). Complete this quest, and the NPC's will then sell:

Iron Boot Flask, which is sold by Olut Alegut (Horde) for 10 Relic of Ulduar
Iron Boot Flask, which is sold by Rork Sharpchin (Alliance) for 10 Relic of Ulduar

Like stated previous, in order for these NPC’s to sell this toy, you need to complete the quest Ancient Relics first. This means you will need 20 Relic of Ulduar, which can be bought on the auction house (usually cheap), or by killing various mobs all around The Storm Peaks or Halls of Lightning.

Toys are account-bound; if you have any characters with Engineering you can make:

Snowmaster 9000
Gnomish X-Ray Specs (gnomish only)
World Enlarger (gnomish only)
World Shrinker - when WoD comes out
Crashin' Thrashin' Robot - even though engineers can make this, you do not have to have engineering to get this toy. On most servers, this will sell for 100-200 gold - give or take.

1. World Events offer many toys. Some to keep your eye on, but not limited to:

Lunar Festival
Children's Week
Brewfest
Hallow's End
Feast for Winter Veil

2. An easy way to help speed up this achievement is by using the filters in your toy box. There are options like “vendor," “quest,” “world event,” etc.. You can scroll over the toy and see some information such as “drop,” “zone,” “cost,” “vendor,” “achievement,” “category,” “location,” and “price.” This should speed up the process. Good luck

Main city banners sold in Argent Tournament Ground are counted as 2 toys each. If you add Orgrimmar banner to your box you'll get Stormwind one immediately, Silvermoon banner will add Exodar one, etc.
