To get this achievement, you must buy a Cooking School Bell with 50x Ironpaw Token, and complete the apprentice Nomi's daily quests until you become Best Friends with him.

You cannot purchase it until you have completed the quest To Be a Master from Sungshin Ironpaw which involves cooking all level 600 meals from all 6 cooking specialisations.

Each friendship tier, he will offer a different quest:
Lesson 1: Sliced Peaches - Stranger
Lesson 2: Instant Noodles - Pal
Lesson 3: Toasted Fish Jerky - Buddy
Lesson 4: Dried Needle Mushrooms - Friend
Lesson 5: Pounded Rice Cake - Good Friend

In order to progress to Nomi's set of dailies you must complete the To Be a Master. You will then need 50 Ironpaw tokens to purchase a Cooking School Bell which will summon Nomi and begin the teaching of your apprentice.

Nomi has five friendship tiers each with something different for him to cook on a daily basis. To clarify you do not have to cook anything, all you do is give the ingredients and he will cook it himself.

Part one: 5 x Pandaren Peach

Part two: 5 x Instant Noodles

Part three: 5 x Golden Carp

Part four: 5 x Needle Mushrooms

Part five: 5 x Rice

you can purchase the mats for this right in the market, so no need to hit the AH or farm them. (thanks Mazhop).

I am not sure yet, but it appears that you get 1200 points each day, and each tier requires 8400 or 7 days per tier. the progress bar is broken into 5 segments which would fit with Mitchpriest's post

So it looks like a 35 day acheivement. I will try to return in mid December to confirm that.

If you're looking for rep award notification in the chat log or her rep bar in your character sheet, stop looking. Only way to check your progress is to talk with her and review the rep bar at the top of the dialog.

After reaching "exalted" status with Nomi he will hand out the daily quest: A Token of Appreciation. This quest does not require anything in order to complete it, so you could pretty much say this is a "daily gift" for reaching exalted with Nomi.

The reward for handing in the quest is:

1 x Goodies from Nomi
1 x Ironpaw Token

The bag usually contains one of the following items:

Mad Brewer's Breakfast
Black Pepper Ribs and Shrimp
Chun Tian Spring Rolls
Great Pandaren Banquet
Sea Mist Rice Noodles

In order to get the Cooking School Bell you need 50 Ironpaw Tokens you can either do the Halfhill cooking daily for the tokens or you can turn in Spirit of Harmony at your factions post in Vale of eternal Blossom, look for Spirit of Harmony Vendor. Also, you do a repeatable Replenishing the Pantry. I had a ton of fish from trying to get Nat Pagle rep, so I went that route.

As far as the posts here, Mitchpriest's is the most helpful for those who just wanted to come see how long they were going to have to spend to get this achievement. This one will take longer to get than the Venomhide Ravasaur mount
