PANDARIA
Here is a list of all pets that can found by zone. I've done a fair amount of research and through personal experience, this is what I've come up with. Not everything is perfect, and mistakes are made. I have linked some wonderful addons/info for those who are hardcore pet owners. If you do find an error, please kindly leave a note with detail, so I may edit. The numbers next to the zones are the levels I've encountered. However, if you look at the ingame map, you'll see the levels of the pets in that zone.

Just a note to anyone having trouble getting credit for certain pets:

It seems that it's the achievement UI that is bugged, and not the pets themselves. Even though the achievement shows certain pets as uncaught, you will still earn this achievement once you catch them all.

I earned this with seven or eight pets still marked as uncaught immediately after whining in guild chat about certain pets not counting.

I don't know if this achievement is bugged, but I was just awarded it despite the fact that I didn't have the Feverbite Hatchling or the Shrine Fly, and as far as I know it has for other people, so if you just really want this achievement you don't need to worry about camping the Shrine Fly or fighting millions of pets in Krasarang Wilds in the hopes of getting a Feverbite Hatchling.

Well I hate to say it but it is NOT necessarily true that if you have ALL the pets in your inventory that you will get the achievement anyway. I have every pet on the list with 7 pets showing up gray on the list: Alpine Foxling, Alpine Foxling Kit, Emperor Crab, Feverbite Hatchling, Garden Moth, Shrine Fly and Silkbead Snail. Everything else is green on the list. Still no Achievement.

Edit: After I relogged the achievement showed up.

The progress tracking for this achievement is currently bugged. After you catch all pets on the list, simply relog to get it.

As a note for 5.1 .... If you have issues getting this achievement to complete and relogging does NOT work for you... try re-capturing the pets that are grayed out for you.

I caught a lot of these pets before 5.1 hit, and went back tonight to finish it up. But it wasn't counting Feverbite Hatchling, Garden Moth and Silkbead Snail. All of which I had caught before 5.1. I tried relogging as many above me had recommended but it was not working.

After I went out and re-captured the pets, I got the achievement.

Here is a list with some of the rare pets needed for the Pandaria Safari achievement. This is a list i created, in order to find remaining pets for the safari ach. Most of info on each pet i found through their separate comments :) I hope this is helpful :)

Alpine Foxling Kit
- Rare Spawn, following an Alpine Foxling
- Can spawn as secondary pets in battles

- Note: Found at coords: 41,75 45,77 29,64 37,78
- Secondary: Can be found as a secondary around the area (Especially together with Rapana Whelks)

Savory Beetle
- Rare Spawn as primary
- Relatively common as a secondary around the area

Sifang Otter Pup
- Area 1: Krasarang Wilds: Found af the north-east of the area around the beach; coords 86,10. Can be found as primary pets following a Sifang Otter, or as a secondary against Sifang Otters
- Area 2: Jade Forest, bottom left corner on one of the small islands; coords 38,87. Either following a Sifang Otter or against one.
- Area 3: Vallet of the Four Winds: Only found as secondary pets

::Jade Forest::
Garden Moth
- Note: Does only seem to be found as a secondary pet
- Seconday: Found as secondary against Garden Frogs in the Arboreteum area

Shrine Fly
- Rare Spawn; found around coords: {33,50 36,58} - I found quite a few Shrine Flys flying around at the coordinates, both battle pets and normal critters. Im not sure if this works, but you could try clearing this area for both pets and critters, and hope the respawns are Shrine Flys. This method has worked, when i searched for other battle pets.
- Secondary: Found as a secondary around the area, though rarely it seems
- Note: Found against Jumping spiders and Masked Tanuki Pups

I had to recapture the Garden Moth and the Shrine Fly in order to get the achievement. When i caught the Garden Moth and the Shrine Fly back in patch 5.0.5, they did not get marked in the achievment apparently.

Silkbead Snail
- Area: Found in the bottom left beach of Jade Forest (Beneath Paw'Don Village).
- Secondary: Rarely found as a secondary pet around the area
- Tip: If exalted with Order of the Cloud Serpent, they commonly tags with the dragon hatchlings in the Arboretum

I completed this achieve, but, Garden Moth, Silkbead Snail, and Shrine Fly were not checking off regardless of the fact that i had them. Relogging did not help, dissapointed :/, had to go recatch all 3. Kind of odd that all 3 of my missing ones are from Jade Forest.

i fixed the glitch by re catching all the pets it said i do not have. it worked like a charm, sucked to re do them but least it got me my achevment =)

The last one I needed was the Sea Gull, after 30 minutes of searching I decided to try and catch it in Tanaris, this counted towards the achievement for me.

This means I can conclude that these pets do not have to be captured on Pandaria, if there are any others besides the Sea Gull that can be found elsewhere.

Easiest way to get this:

Open your pet journal and set the filter to 'not collected' only.
Type in the zone name.
Click a pet and mouseover the pet icon (the one in above the 3D model).
If it is unique to the zone hunt it down, collect any of the others that you come across.
Move to the next zone and repeat.

Once you have all unique zone pets you should have most of the others, too.

Just wanted to note that there are several pets in Pandaria that are NOT on this list. Right now I am in Vale of Eternal Blossoms around 69;44 and I've seen and/or captured the following pets:

Effervescent Glowfly (Flying)
Dancing Water Skimmer (Aquatic)
Golden Civet (Aquatic)
Golden Civet Kitten (Aquatic)
Gilded Moth (Flying)
Eternal Strider (Aquatic)
Yellow Bellied Bullfrog (Aquatic)

Most of these pets are level 24-25.

I found these pets by accident while looking for Grand Master Aki. Most of them are near her. I saw all these pets for the first time today, and I completed this achievement 1/17/13. (Today is almost a month later.)
