If you already have more than just one honorable kill at the launch of WotLK you will have this achievement completed when you log in after the release of WotLK as well as any other honor kill achievements you have more honor kills than the objective.

I've seen a 66 without a single kill before. Can't remeber his name or i'd link him.

Personally I've had 4 hk's on a level 4 mage. I rolled on a recomended server just screwing around and an a level six comes rolling through, I guess looking to kill some noobs.

Just looking at the images next to the achievments doesn't it look suspiciously like they might finaly be adding a way to get the old titles again when they feel like makeing them avalible? 1 HK Private 100 Sergent 500 Master Sergent 1K First sergent 5K Knight ?

I know that they are just images but that is the old ranking icons, so it looks like they are thinking about making that the way to get the old titles, ofcourse they havn't added it to the achievments (I mean why would you want someone going for the old titles when there is other new stuff to explore but they are leaving it open for those to unlock the old titles.

because having attained one of the old-school pvp titles awards you a feat of strength, it seems highly unlikely that these titles would ever be reinstated.

this achievement is one of the hardest feats to accomplish, almost impossible. took my guild a few days to earn this exhausting achievement.

I've been working on this one for a few months...my guild says I'm crazy but I'm gonna go for it. So far, this doesn't seem too easy. I'll post some tips later. This achievement should have a tabard!

I put my head-band on, as well as my goggles and I'm ready for battle!....Call me crazy but I'm going to farm bgs until I get this achievement, even if it takes me another 4 years! Game fuel in 1 hand and my mouse in the other; be warned all you horde...I'm a bad man.

Ok: let me break it down:

Saurfang is your ideal tank.
Hogger is your CC.
Healer is Kael'thas (it was just a setback... /rez)
DPS= GM's and Admins
And you, if you're awesome enough to get an invite.

Now, go to a sparsely populated area. Find one person, all alone. Make sure everyone is ready, and buffed.

Now attack. Assuming 1/2 of you aren't botting, you may have a chance at this. But I wouldn't get your hopes up.

This is one of those white glove only achievements that probably 1 person on the server will ever get. One so epic, you could use it as a pickup line at a bar. "Hey baby, did you know that I got an honorable kill 20 minutes ago? That's HK to us cool people. Want to come back to my place and check out my Dingy Wizard Hat?"

To earn an Honorable Kill, you must be flagged for PvP and in the area/ taking part in killing a member of the oppostie faction (healers need not worry about tagging a player to still recieve creit for the honorable kill). Regardless of server type (PvP/RP) you can flag for PvP with the /pvp command. Honorable Kill achievements can be earned while out in the world or in PvP "zones" such as battlegrounds. For each Kill achievement, the appropriate number of kills will be needed: 1, 100, 500, 1000, 5000, 10000, 25000, 50000, 100000, 250000.

bg are the easiest way to get the hks ;
problem is with this he likely got it by waiting out in an area ;flagged; and stepping into a lower level targets aoe and forcing them to flag so he could kill them.
tried this on my 62 and could not get his second one cause she was too low a level from them.
need to be inside of 6 levels to get the achievement unless they are in the same bg as you.
so... rogueish; they at least have the correct toon for play.
parred against my pally they will likely be giving me the hk and then i can also get the "make love not warcraft"; by emote 'hugging' before they release after dying.
