is there any lowest character level requirement to get into dalaran? if yes, level the character before end of event

You can't take the teleport from Crystalsong Forest up to Dalaran before lvl 74, but you can be summoned or mage-portaled into the city at any level.

Also note that the Winter Veil Disguise kit isn't always in the Smokeywood Pastures Sampler that you receive by mail.

i did the quest yesterday and stil havnt got one of these in the mail.......

just got it today, i think it was about either 16hours or 24hours after i did the quest... confirmed patience is required!

I remember getting the snowman disguise at the very end of the festival.. but maybe I am wrong, it was quite a while ago.

Not this year but I did this quest last year and the previous year with many characters of mine and the disguise kit always came with mail the day after I did the quest.

I did all the quests yesterday that Org offered yesterday morning, and I still haven't gotten mine in the mail - has anyone else had this issue? everyone else in my party that i did the quests with got theirs, so I don't know what is going on.

In order for someone to get the achievement, they simply have to be in Dalaran and dance with a snowman targeted. The snowman they dance with does not have to dance back. So you can go afk for a bit or pay attention to guild chat while people come to you, turn into snowmen, and dance; they will get the achievement.

The Winter Veil Disguise Kit does not disappear from your bags once it's been used. I was warey of this when I used it with another snowman in Dalaran. You can use it anywhere, anytime without it disappearing. :)

for those of us who like to help out other players and shake our frozen booty for hours at a time at the dalaran banks....

You can't do anything other than dance, otherwise the game gives you the 'you cant do that while you're stunned error'

this keeps you from preventing the AFK flag, and while being AFK doesn't really stop others from getting their achievement, some of us like to dance, and dropping out of the disguise and re-applying costs a snowball.

type /afk to remove the afk flag
type /stand (because when you go afk your character sits)
then type /dance again to start shaking your frozen booty again.

It took me a while to figure it out, and I keep seeing others drop their disguise and re-applying, so i thought i'd try to help.

Can anyone tell me where i can get "Winter Veil Disguise Kit". I didn’t receive it in mail, after completing Q-chain. Maybe i got it last year, but throve it out accidentally.

By the "yeti" quest, do people mean the Greeynch quest to retrieve the stolen treats? I did it for the first time with this particular character this year (yesterday) to get the "simply Abominable" achievement and have not received a snowman costume in the mail yet. I did it last year with some different characters last year, but the details are fuzzy now. Is there a different quest I should do to get the costume?

I was alittle worried when I got mail but it did not contain my disguise after 24 hours had passed. BUT THEN after maybe 30ish hours I got another letter with my disguise in the mail, so fear not! Just wait it out.

I only had to wait about 2 hours for mine, but dalaran had 4 people at the time and not easy to get someone to come lol.

Anyone know how to do this after Cataclysm has hit? Apparently the quest to get it has been taken off, so now I have no idea what to do. Please HELP!

For Cataclysm the Winter Veil Disguise Kit will be delivered via the mailbox 1 day after completing the quest chain ending in 'A Smokywood Pastures' Thank You! (The chain starts with the daily 'You're a Mean One')... Finding another snowman in Dalaran is the hard bit!

I suggest pairing this with Bros. Before Ho Ho Ho's.
Brother Keltan in on Ogrim's Hammer flying in Icecrown.
Durkot Wolfbrother in Warsong Hold in Borean Tundra.

Make sure you hit these guys with Mistletoe before you leave Northrend.

This year, the quest required to get your Winter Veil Disguise Kit is You're a Mean One... for the Horde, the alliance quest is You're a Mean One.... It will come in the mail within 24 hours of completion (but, it may come much sooner).

You can do this solo!

1. get the toy from you mailbox
2. get a snowball on two chars
3. place both chars on the same spot in Dalaran
4. use the toy with one char and become a snowman
5. Alt+F4 with that char and relogg with the other char
6. The first „snowman“char is still there and you can dance with it.
