Gorsik is right, what is Lorvarius basing his suspicions on? Wouldn't it be more prudent to do some looking around at the Troggs before heading back to Gorsik? Especially considering this is a supposedly cautious and tenuous relationship which could easily break.

Just imagine if Torvarius hadn't been right. That would've been a diplomatic disater. Gorsik and possibly Therazane might never trust you/the Earthen Ring and then it's suddenly become even more difficult to reassemble the World Pillar. And that only because we didn't double check a hunch.
