Compressing the madness of your average carny, and shuffling in the madness of your average card collector, the Darkmoon Card: Madness taps into the insanity lurking at the borders of every mind. Once collected into the (Item #31914), the cards of Lunacy can be turned in to Gelvas Grimegate at the Darkmoon Faire in exchange for this valuable trinket. The card's power is triggered when the bearer slays a target which grants experience or honor. The resulting Power of Madness is a buff which lasts for thirty seconds. The buff is chosen from a wide range of options, which considers the class of the bearer. The Power of Madness can be applied to a player more than once. If the player receives a buff they already have, that buff's timer is refreshed. Effects of "Madness" (Spell #40997): +70 attack power (Rogue, Hunter, Paladin, Warrior, Druid, Shaman) (Spell #41404): "Down the rabbit hole..." Every 5 seconds either gives you +5% or -5% damage/healing. (Druid, Shaman, Priest, Warlock, Mage, Paladin) (Spell #40998): +35 agility ( Warrior, Rogue, Paladin, Hunter, Druid) (Spell #41005): +35 haste (spell, melee and ranged) (All classes except Hunter) (Spell #41011): +35 stamina (All classes) (Spell #40999): +41 damage/healing (Druid, Shaman, Priest, Warlock, Mage, Paladin) (Spell #41009): +35 intellect (Druid, Shaman, Priest, Warlock, Mage, Paladin, Hunter) (Spell #41002): +35 spell/melee/ranged crit strike rating (All classes except Hunter) (Spell #39511): +35 strength (Paladin, Rogue, Druid, Warrior) Extra: The player will occasionally exclaim "This is madness!" This is similar to the things said by NPCs in combat. It is not controllable.
