6th Tome: Guess Who Is The Mayor? The zeppelin shook as it crashed against a heavy cloud. In the corner, Sargron used one hand t hang on to a bar with all his strength, and another to hold on to a bottle of rum. As he took another gulp, Corarion approached with a mocking smile. He wore a hooded cape, tied around his neck, with the cap down. The blood elf gestured for the roc to give him the rum, and took a gulp himself.
“Don’t worry. The chance of this falling and we all dying a horrible death is…” He looked around the structure. “…small.”
The orc twitched a bit, and said:
“That’s comforting.”
Just as he said that a goblin crew member came to the both, crying out in his shrill voice:
“The elf is right! Our technology never fails! According to my calculations, there’s zero chance of this falling!” At that time a thunder roared in all their ears and a heavy rain started. “Okay! Maybe not zero!”
The paladin covered his head and watched as the warlock chugged down whatever was left in the bottle and shook as intensely as the transport.
“Let’s go inside. In your state, you might end up falling over the edge.” Said Corarion as he took Sargron from the outside part of the zeppelin and then threw him into his room. “Sleep already. We should be on land by morning. Idiot.”
The sun never shined too brightly above Tirisfal Glades. And it was no difference the morning when the paladin and the warlock got off the goblin’s flying machine. In his way out, Sargron looked like he had been hit in the head.
“Where are we going again?” He asked, barely able to talk.
“The Hinterlands, remember?” Answered the blood elf.
“W-what?”
“It was your idea, you drunk bastard.”
“Wait, wait it’s coming back to me. Right! We gotta find Zumbyat and Rokhan in the Hinterlands.”
“Yeah, by the way, how do you pretend to do that? You think they’re going to be sitting around, waiting for you to show up?”
“Both are friends of the Revantuks. Shouldn’t be very hard to locate them. Worst case scenario, we just wait by the inn ‘till they show up.”
“You better have a freaking deck of cards, then.”
The wyvern ride was smooth, both adventurers landed on the Hinterlands without too much trouble. When the two mounted off Sargron went straight to the inn, passed by Lard, and went up the stairs to talk to Primal Torntusk. Sargron immediately took his guard captain badge out of his backpack, showed it, saluted, and said:
“Primal, I need your help. I need you to help me find two people that have, most likely, passed by here recently. The first is Zumbyat, he was here most likely in the name of Orgrimmar. The other is a troll by the name of Rokhan, I heard he travels in and out of the village frequently.”
Torntusk looked pensive. She rubbed her chin while the wheels turned on her head.
“Hmm...I be rememberin’ de huntah. He passed here a few days. He be goin’ to figh’ off in Jintha’alor, somethin’ be happenin’ dere. Rokhan…well...he was here a few days too. He always is comin’ an’ goin’. Always walkin’ too. He shouldn’t be too far down de road. Good luck, Sargron.”
The warlock thanked his past boss, and went down to talk to Corarion, who already had their mounts ready.
“We need to hurry. We might still be able to get them both.”
The two then mounted up and urged forward. Even though they were partners, the orc and the blood elf kept trying to outrun one another. Their little competition continued until they reached the outskirts of Jintha’alor. Atop the cannibal troll’s town a sickish green light shone. Disgusted, the blood elf looked away and said:
“What the Hell are these savages up to?”
