I agree with bryce, you should upload it sooner! I don't even mind if it's not finished, as long as I have the bottom area that you have I'm happy

edit 2: Damnit, I've been trying to recreate your UI and now one of my addons won't let me click half my screen..Quick post yours so I can play wow again! =P

Well I had thought of a squared "modern" font. I tried all the pixel fonts I could find, including the one Metz used -- Visitor -- and while some looked decent (not great) on the unit frames, they all looked terrible on the data text. (While leaving it inconsistent looked even worse.)

Updated mine a lot. Made it more combat-efficient: moved the UFs into the line-of-site of combat, and class-colored power bars for easier at-a-glance class recognition.

Since everything else in the UI is horizontal I would place the 2 standart buff frames horizontally as well. Not everything needs to be changed. I find the placement in the top right corner the best.
Still I like the rest of the UI very much (even though I couldn't play with it - as mentioned before). Good work.

That makes sense. I certainly considered doing that. But I find the buffs too noticeable when they're arranged horizontally across the screen like that, and it becomes distracting. I would certainly like to re-arrange them somehow, but there's a lot of buffs I need to fit without making it look sloppy.

Then maybe try to arrange them around the minimap. How about having two rows for each buffs and debuffs, both expanding upwards on top of the minimap... it's a bit unconventional but maybe you wanna give it a try :)

I like unconventional. I'll try it and see how it plays out. Thanks for the suggestion.
Edit:
That just looked awkward. But I've fixed it. I placed them under the player frame opposite the target buffs. I scaled all the buffs down one notch so I can fit more without much overhang.
