Just wanted to add that moves like Lacerate for druids are bleeds, which mean if a mob cannot bleed, the druid can't use this ability effectively.
Also, paladins have Blessing of Protection which should drop agro, but won't prevent spell damage.
Warriors have Intervene, which is like Intercept, but it works for friendly targets & blocks the next incoming melee attack on the Intervened target.
As far as the encounter I do not have personal experience with it, but you may wish to find more information at
TankSpot
as they cover all types of tanks & encounters.

Mangle is a druid's biggest threat attack, dealing threat equal to 1.3 times the damage inflicted
Maul is a druid's next biggest threat attack, dealing threat equal to the damage inflicted plus 322 at max rank. Maul is a druid's equivalent of Heroic Strike, however, so it is the least rage-efficient of the druid tanking abilities.
Note that based on those numbers, a hit from Maul will generate more threat than an equal damage hit from Mangle until the hits are for roughly 1073 damage.

A Warrior who spams
Cleave
,
Sweeping Strikes
and
Thunderclap
whenever the cooldowns are finished should have a decent time holding 3-4 targets (switching the main target between them to land
Sunder Armor
per target helps a lot, too).
