Ok, so there are about a hundred other posts that are almost exactly like this one, but bear with me...
I just reactivated my account, and haven't played since pre-TBC, I've got a 60 rogue that I plan to PvP mostly in the BG's until I re-familiarize myself with the other classes and so forth before I jump into any arena action. So, I have a few questions.
1) I was looking at the Hemo/SS debate, and while Hemo ups your white damage, there looks to me like there are some nice benefits to having SS as you get deeper into the Combat tree. Anything you would like to point out to me about this, feel free. (Specifically, the extra 6% dmg and chance to daze)
2) I know that maces are the wet dream of PvP rogues right now, but, I'm not really planning on doing any serious Arena stuff, and like the idea of a sword build if only to be different, so is the chance for an extra attack really that much worse than the 5% crit chance?
3) Feel free to flame me for my horrible talent choices, but here are a couple builds I've been toying around with, and I would like some feedback:

SS combat builds and hemo builds can both do well in PVP.
One of the best PVP specs available at the moment is ARPrep (adrenaline rush preparation), which sees points split evenly between combat and subtlety with hemo being used as the primary attack. Unfortunately, come 2.3.2 adrenaline rush will be taken off of preparation's reset list. ARPrep will still be good, it just won't be
as good.
Mace spec's main attraction is its stun proc, the increased crit damage (note that it's not increased crit chance) was added recently and is a mild bonus. Mace spec is the best weapon spec for PVP, but if swords is the way you want to go then don't hesitate, you'll still do fine (as you said, you're not too serious about your performance in the arena).
