Is the common build for raiding Enh shammys.
(With a flip on Concussion or Convection)
As for gear, at the start of ur raiding (Karazhan and up) you
will fight with Feral Druids & DPS Warriors for trinkets, as u also
have the greater use of Strength.
Hunters for most other things as most gear is mixed with hunters
But i would start aiming for your tier items.
Stats... well. just as a warrior would gems his gear (dps) +hit (100-115 is good as with ur talents, u max out ur special weapon hit cap)
+crit is always nice =) and some ap.
I wouldnt go so much into the haste craze as it would be blowing ur true power of wind fury out the water, not saying dont get it, but just weigh it out beforehand.
Enh Shaman are usualy the odd on out of raids due to the fact many guilds would take a rogue over you. But alot of guilds are seeing the true power of having a Enh shaman in the raid.
Heh, having 3.2k+ Windfury Crits with some decent gear and correct usage of weapon speeds gives u some spotlight doesnt it =)

Haste is no longer a bad thing, EJ has shown that increased white damage below 1.5 speed outweighs lost Windfurys. However, slow weapons to begin with are still the way to go.
Also, use this build.

Stick the last point wherever you like, I have mine in Reincarnation.

IMO Improved guardian totems is useless, something Resto shammies go into, and improved reincarnation at full points is useless, as well as improved weapon totems, which are good enough on their own, the buff the talent provides doesn't justify the two points. Take all those extra points and put them in Anticipation, even with the improvement in threat control for Shaman, you will still find yourself passing the tank early in trash fights. That extra 5% to dodge is welcome there.

If you anticipate (pun intended) pulling threat then there is a more fundamental problem with your playstyle than talent placement choices. If you're about to pull threat then you need to stop attacking, it's as simple as that.
Your buffs as enhancement are the sole reason you're brought to a raid, your DPS will be surpassed by other melee classes once you reach the higher tiers of gear and buffing the exact reason you're brought to a raid is never a waste.
Go back and read my post, "early in the fight". It isn't about anticipating passing threat over the long term, its about waiting until the tank has 3k aggro and passing him on the first attack with a windfury crit. The points are better spent here than anywhere else.
And if it is about buffs, you won't be dropping Stoneskin anyway. The reduction even improved provides is nil when a trash mob can hit you for 2000.
