If you shift into Moonkin form and just dance, I'm pretty sure the amount of awesome that will be flowing out of you should be enough to kill just about everything. For Illidan though, I would bring more than one Moonkin.

My druid is moonkin and has a similar talent build to yours. I did put points in to Force of Nature, however. It's not much, but it gives a bit more damage output every three minutes (and every little bit counts during an encounter! ^_^). As for armour.. well we're pretty much limited to cloth for now, but I don't have any problem with that - I mean, we're casters so we shouldn't really be taking too much physical damage anyway :/
I'm probably not the best player though, so I know I'm doing something wrong, but typically on trash I'll stick with Faerie Fire, Insect Swarm, and Wrath. Starfire isn't really mana efficient for the small amount of time you fight trash mobs, I've noticed. On bosses, however, I'll primarilly stick to Faerie Fire/Insect Swarm (obviously) and Starfire (with a couple Wrath's thrown in every once in a while ('cept on Curator >.>)
Like I said, I'm not the best player but I don't mind. Using this strategy I don't really have issues with mana.. but I'm sure someone else can come up with a better idea to help you! =)

Dont take Imp MotW. Even if you only raid. This will just screw up other druids without it that try to refresh buffs. And Furor allow you to shift to bear and Demo Shout or Bash which is much more useful imo.
For the rest, you have the perfect little raiding moonkin build :)

Force of Nature is not 12% of your mana, it's 12% of your mana pool if you had 0 intellect. Been a while since I checked the cost, but I think that puts it at around 400 mana at level 70, which isn't even two starfires. They have the potential to do at least that much, assuming their glitchy AI doesn't get in the way.
I'm curious why Wildhorn suggests not taking Imp MotW. How does it screw with other druids? They're trying to put a weaker version of the buff on, of course they won't be able to cast it. Not really a problem... Plus I'm not sure when you'd be using demo shout or bash in a raid, unless the raid's on its way to a wipe anyways.

Yeah, I didn't even realize it was a base % of mana until you pointed out *eg*. For me, I'm at about 800ish +damage (Karazhan gear, mostly) and the trees hit for about 200 so that's about well over 1,000 damage per use (just estimating).
I'm also curious as to why skipping Imp. Mark of the Wild and getting Furor instead was brought up in this thread. If we're speccing Moonkin, cat form and bear form don't really matter much ;) Since, most likely, you'd have assigned groups for buffing in raids any way, the point of refreshing buffs shouldn't come up unless the person died (which would make that point moot any way :/)

If a clothy get agro and his near you, a taunt + demo shout could save his life and your.

Moonkin are definitely raid viable... but as the previous poster said, you have to make sure you justify your spot - to me that means not losing too much dps and providing as many raid buffs as possible. Here's my preferred talent build:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0xzrdicsxuNZZxbIx
I go for Imp FF over Balance of Power while keeping Subtlety - the extra spell hit is nice, but not as nice as a chunky raid dps boost, and you can get spell hit elsewhere easily enough. Subtlety is important though because you have no other way to shed aggro, which caps your damage to the tanks' threat ceiling. If your tank is really good, I might say pull 1 pt out of Subtlety for Force of Nature - those Treants do scale awesomely at high levels of +spelldamage. Imp MotW is slightly useful also, and there are no better alternatives.
As for wearing cloth - definitely yes. If you expect to keep up with the rest of the raid long-term, you have to make sure they're ok with you bidding on cloth for the non-tier slots, because there just isn't a lot of leather spelldps gear around.
Spell rotation, well, MF + Wrath spam on trash, IS + SF x3 on long fights to save the mana, switching to IS + MF + Wrath x6 for burst damage where needed is best, with Imp FF every 3 full cycles. Make sure you have a decent amount of spellcrit to get the most out of Nature's Grace ;)

WWFG: I'm sure no-one has anything a bit of bad grammar, but please, try to refrain from posting in all caps.
Anyways, Moonkin + Mage in same group = I <3

My concern is, how does applying Faerie Fire affect your overall DPS? Is replacing a Moonfire with Faerie Fire more DPS? Forgive me, I haven't sat down and done the math. I'm trying to consider long-term fights and I suppose if I don't have my hit rating topped off I am missing out. One other thing, I noticed Faerie Fire only applies to Melee and Ranged Attacks. Does spell damage fall under the ranged attack category?
I don't really notice a difference between using FF in a rotation and not using it. I think it's not about you losing DPS, but about the Melee classes getting that extra boost from having it up, since it applies to the entire raid/party.

Wrath spam is the way to go before you get the 4-set bonus of tier 5 :)

Actually, that'd be a great way to get both of you killed. In a raid, let the tanks do their job. Imp. MotW is not good, but it's better then Furor, which will never be used in a raid.

A decent build overall, but any dps caster worth their salt will tell you that the first thing you need to do with your gear is to reach 16% hit to be hit capped against boss level mobs. Passing up a talent that gives you 4% hit is equal to passing on 51 hit rating! That's just insane! Your mages get by with 10% threat reduction surely you would be ok with just 8%. Unless you're only raiding with one paladin you'll have BoSalv so your threat generation won't be an issue.
Maybe it's our tanks, but I still see mages using Invis to shed their threat, and they have BoS as well ;) The spell hit you can get elsewhere, same as they do, it's all about tradeoffs and what works for your raid. Imp FF is worth 3% to hit to all physical dps in the raid, while Balance of Power just ups my personal dps a bit.
