Raid Instance Idea: The People's Palace
Capacity:
25-players ONLY
Zone Portal Location:
Dalaran, Violet Citadel. It will place you at the foot of the plateau leading up to the People's Palace.
DISCLAIMER
: This is not really a part of Warcraft Lore. I am not intending to steal from Terry Goodkind's works either. This is just an original idea that's had a long time coming; the settings of his works have great potential to make a fantastic raid instance.
SPOILER WARNING:
There are potential spoilers of the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind in this thread.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
General Info:
20 years have passed since the end of the War with the Imperial Order. During this time, the New and Old Worlds have experienced great prosperity. Despite great insistence to the contrary by the person in question, Richard Rahl, the hero of this war, was chosen to lord over these lands. During this time, new magic was developed, and the People's Palace, a powerful bastion in the lands of D'Hara, was fortified with a spell of never-ending life.
Despite all this all good things had to come to an end. The invocation of the Boxes of Orden combined with the raising of the fabled Temple of Winds, a place of great magic, has attracted the eye of the Burning Legion. During the time of prosperity, the Legion flitted among the populace, corrupting the unsuspecting people one at a time. Soon, even Richard Rahl was brought to bear by the overwhelming power of the legion.
The mages of Dalaran have discovered this, and have sent heroes to intervene. The corruption ends now; the Burning Legion must not be allowed to use Orden.
Introduction to this instance.

Boss Four:
Candace the Devoted
<Sister of the Light>
WARNING: This boss is not a Sword of Truth character. Do not try to flame me with sotwikia sources on this particular boss.
Candace once wondered the halls of the Palace of Prophets. But one day, she was taken under the dominion of the dream walker who lead the Imperial Order. For many years she was subject to his will, forced to do horrible things, such as slaying innocents. She had given up hope. However, at the conclusion of the war with the Imperial Order, she was freed by Richard's use of the Boxes of Order, among many other Sisters of the Light. Her realization at a simple devotion to the Lord Rahl being the solution to counteracting the dream walker's power amazed her. She has remained devoted to the Lord Rahl since.

Boss Five:
Panis Rahl
Panis Rahl is Richard Rahl's grandfather. He united all of D'Hara through conquest, then attempted to take the Midlands, a bastion of magic and many nations united under the Mother Confessor. He primarily fought against the wits of a powerful wizard named Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander. However, he was beaten at every turn. For example, Panis Rahl created dark beings called shadow people, meant to slay foes with a single touch. The opposing wizard discovered magic that could be imbued into war horns, which destroyed the shadow people. In the end, Panis Rahl was bested with wizard's fire, and his charred bones have rested in the crypts of the People's Palace since. He has now returned, empowered by the Keeper of the Underworld and the Burning Legion.

<Spirit Woman of the Baka Tau Mana>
Du Chaillu, as her title obviously notes, is the spirit woman of a clan of blade masters known as the Baka Tau Mana. This group was previously known as the Baka Ban Mana, "those without masters." However, when Richard came, rescued Du Chaillu from another group who was going to sacrifice her. She then put him to the test of slaying 30 of her best blade masters. He did so, calling upon the past experiences of those who wielded the Sword of Truth. Namely, he "danced with death." Upon accomplishing this task, she "married" Richard and named him Caharin, as the laws of her people proclaimed. She later accompanied him through the land of Anderith, giving sage advice that saved his wife. She managed to survive the onslaught of the Imperial Order after, and now lives in the People's Palace with her blade masters.

Shota
<Midlands Witch Woman>
Shota is the witch woman of Agaden Reach, which is the plateau of one of the mountains in the Midlands. She has crossed Richard Rahl many times for various reasons. As a witch woman, she has strange powers that transcend the concept of normal magic. She has the ability to see the flows of time and manipulate them at her own leisure. However, the power is natural, and attempting to force these flows of time at a whim may yield different results. Witch women are unnatural due to their ability to enthrall other mortals and even clear their minds for brief moments. Oftentimes a witch woman will take a consort. Shota's last consort died at the conclusion of the war with the Imperial Order. Afterwards, she lived in the Agaden Reach for years, occasionally wondering to the People's Palace and the Keep under the guise of another. She eventually got caught in the Burning Legion's corruption but can occasionally throw it off for brief moments of time, thanks to her abnormal powers.

Victor Cascella hails from the Old World. In the decrepit city of Altur'Rang, he met with Richard Rahl during his forced imprisonment by a Sister of the Dark. Ultimately, after Richard was caught and punished, Victor gave one of his most valuable objects, a piece of marble. Richard worked this piece of marble into the pure nobility of mankind, naming it "Life." It brought Altur'Rang to its knees as the citizens felt hope and vigor return to them, feelings the Imperial Order had stolen. Victor Cascella remains a great friend of Richard Rahl to this day, and occasionally shares a snack of lardo, said to give great strength and energy to the consumer.

Boss Eleven:
Strategist Chase
Not truly a strategist all his life, Chase (also known as Dell Brandstone) is actually a friend of Richard's back in the land of Westland, where there was considered to be no magic. Though his life history stretches far beyond that, he played a major role only upon reaching this new land. He served as a boundary warden to keep people from wandering into a barrier erected by the First Wizard (Zeddicus Z'ul Zorander), which separated Westland from the Midlands, a volatile place of magic and much more. He was also a vicious fighter, but rather intelligent and capable. Because of this, Richard assigned him to be the strategist and to handle the logistics of the D'Haran Army upon the conclusion of the war with the Imperial Order. He has done so ever since, while guarding his adopted daughter, Rachel.

Boss Twelve:
Queen Rachel
Rachel was not actually a Queen since she was young. She was orphaned and adopted by the royal family of Tamarang after her brother was raped and killed at the hands of Demmin Nass (Darken Rahl's right hand man, who had a sick obsession with little boys). During her time in the castle, she became the playmate of Princess Violet. The girl was cruel to Rachel, however, and so life for the poor orphan was miserable. Eventually, with the help of a wizard she escaped, becoming a key player in stopping Darken Rahl from opening the Boxes of Orden when they were in play. She was soon adopted by Chase. Later on, she was kidnapped on behalf of Violet, who was now the Queen of Tamarang. After subjecting Rachel to cruel humiliation, she escaped for a second time, only to be forced to go back to undo a magical drawing in the nearby caves. Upon the conclusion of the war, she went to the keep with Chase, learning how to paint, as she actually was the true heir to the throne of Tamarang, and with that bloodline came a definitive proficiency of art skills. Eventually she became a Queen and Chase became her trusted personal guard wherever she went.

Commander General Meiffert
<Supreme Commander of the D'Haran Army>
Benjamin Meiffert was a young man during the time of the war with the Imperial Order. He was a captain, but after the death of the commander of the D'Haran army, the Mother Confessor put him in charge. Throughout the next few years, he led the D'Haran Army, destroying as many Imperial Order soldiers as possible while losing ground to keep a defensive composure. Ultimately, by the command of Richard Rahl, Meiffert led the army into the Old World, where they lay waste to supply lines and prospective soldiers, as well as "brothers" who advocated the beliefs of the Imperial Order. During all this time, he developed a soft spot for one of the Mord-Sith, Cara, who was an exclusive part of Lord Rahl's personal guard but also a stalwart friend. Upon the conclusion of the war, Meiffert was wed with Cara. He was also made the supreme commander of the D'Haran Army and leads the First File at the People's Palace to replace Commander General Trimack, who died near the end of the war.

Wing Four: Upper Dining Hall
Bonus Boss Two:
Jebra the Seer
Jebra is a woman capable of having visions of anyone she makes contact with, hence the title of "Seer." Thrown out of her family home for having the strange powers, she eventually found her way among a royal court in the Midlands. Eventually, the Baroness of that court went to the People's Palace, taking Jebra along as her vassal. During Jebra's stay at the palace, underworld creatures known as screeling attack and nearly kill her and her master. Zedd heals her, noticing her marking as a Seer. He insists that she stay at the palace and serve the Lord Rahl. She kindly refuses, not wanting to use her cursed powers that would probably only cause grief. She instead chose to serve the royal family of Galea. However, the Queen, Cyrilla, ignored Jebra's warnings that the Imperial Order would destroy Galea and imprisoned the seer instead.
Jebra was ultimately made to serve the Imperial Order until she escaped with the help of Shota. After telling Richard her story, Jebra enters a comatose state because of the witch woman, Six, then leaves to wander the land. After a time of wandering, she returned to the People's Palace, knowing that Richard had saved the world, and decided to serve him. The power of Orden unlocked a special power within Jebra, allowing her to control her visions as well as recall visions of the past. She immediately set herself to understanding Richard's past. Jebra also learned how to set her visions, future or past, upon others, making her a deadly person indeed. Fortunately, she was rather passive in nature until the Burning Legion took over, a fate she somehow missed...

He is a dreamwalker, capable of subjugating the minds of enemies, but especially spellcasters, which have a conduit in their mind that makes them significantly easier to control. The reason he gained his dreamwalker powers is due to an imbalance of power back in the old wars a few thousand years ago. He has an unnatural "affection" for Nicci, which generally involves violent beating among other things. He also has great physical strength and is a wily, strategic man, if a bit brutish in his methods.

He planted the seeds of faith, stayed at the Palace, and managed to be able to see the legions of people assault the New World. However, his pleasant vision was cut short when he tried to make the Retreat, a palace that would have a similar spell of slow aging like the Palace of Prophets, when Richard managed to cause the people of Altur'Rang to fight for their lives. Pillars of Creation:
This is a multiple boss encounter, involving two half-siblings of Richard Rahl.
Phase 1:
Oba Rahl
will appear next to an unconscious Kahlan and fight you.
Once a farm boy disliked by his mother and most everyone else (as he was an unwanted child), he grew very strong over the years. Eventually, he gave in to voices in his head, giving up his will in exchange for power, which he confused for invincibility, as magic seemed to have no effect on him. This, however, was because he was "pristinely ungifted" and therefore magic couldn't touch him. He lay waste to many D'Haran citizens, then decided to take down Richard, as the voice commanded, so that he could become the Lord Rahl himself. He journeyed to the Old World. There he kidnapped Kahlan and journeyed to the Pillars of Creation, a foundation in the middle of scorching desert. He was killed there, thanks to one of Lord Rahl's personal guards, Tom.

Berserk: 3 minutes
Approximate Weapon Damage: 42000-43500
Swing Timer: 2.5

Frenzied Assault:
Driven mad with power, Oba Rahl thrashes about, dealing 6000 Physical damage to random raid members. These attacks have a 50% chance to miss. 10 such attacks will be done, whether they land or not.
Phase 2: After Oba Rahl is defeated,
Jennsen Rahl
will attempt to make good her vengeance upon Richard Rahl. She will fight her way through you to get to him.
Jennsen Rahl was on the run from Darken Rahl, though she didn't know the evil man was dead until Sebastian, a strategist for the Imperial Order, told her. He then tricked her into coming to the Imperial Order by having his men pose as D'Haran soldiers who kill Jennsen's mother. At the Imperial Order camp, which was about to take Aydindril, the capital of the Midlands, she is taken by the Sisters of the Dark to make a pact with the Keeper, as Jennsen's thirst for revenge was great, and she wanted Richard Rahl dead. She then travels with a Sister and Sebastian to the Pillars of Creation. However, she realizes the truth of what happened, and joins with Richard on his journeys. Later on, after Richard saves a people called the Bandakar (a group of pristinely ungifted people), Jennsen decides to join with them, as she shares their trait.
When the power Orden was unleashed, she and the other Bandakar, as well as Tom, whom she was in love with, went over to the other world, with Richard's blessing, and were never seen again.
HP: 4,000,000
Approximate Weapon Damage: 27500-28000
Swing Timer: 1.5
Keeper's Vengeance:
Jennsen's anger is fueled by her revenge against the Lord Rahl. With the Keeper's pact in place, her power grows with each strike. Increases attack speed and melee damage by 5% per successful melee strike (stacks indefinitely) and all melee strikes deal Shadow damage equal to 5% of the target's maximum health.
Berserk Assault:
Increases attack speed by 500% for 3 seconds. All attacks deal 2500 Shadow damage to the raid instead of 5% max health in Shadow damage to the target. No more than 15000 Shadow damage can be done this way to each raid member per cast.

The Keeper's Beast
The "beast" is an underworld creature summoned by Jagang's Sisters of the Dark. This beast has only the primal urge to chase after Richard whenever he uses magic. The way it appears and the shape it takes is different every time, as it's a being of chaos, purely with a desire to kill Richard. It was ultimately defeated at the Temple of Wind in the underworld, where it lives, by Richard, though it nearly cost him his own life as well.

Temporarily disables Chaotic Visage, but causes 15000 Holy damage over 10 seconds to everyone.

Wing Five: The Royal Quarters
Boss Fifteen:
Berdine
Berdine is an exceptional Mord-Sith who serves as Richard Rahl's personal guard. She is extremely literary, and helped teach the Lord Rahl how to read and understand High D'Haran, which became an important skill later on in his quest. Though Berdine has a soft spot for the Lord Rahl, she was actually in love with another Mord-Sith, Raina, who died at the hands of the Imperial Order. Despite the painful loss, she still works in service of the Lord Rahl, occasionally joining him for his frequent reading sessions whenever he's at the palace.

Spell Snatch:
Cast every 20 seconds. The next spell cast will automatically be replicated and cast by Berdine at the target. A raid warning will alert this and also alert which spell got replicated. The effect of the spell is amplified by 50% bonus damage or 500% bonus healing (but it cannot crit).

Boss Sixteen:
Zeddicus Z'ul Zorander
<First Wizard of the Order>
First Wizard Zeddicus Z'ul Zorander, or Zedd, as he often prefers to be called, is one of the most exceptional wizards of his time. Though he lacks the ability to cast Subtractive and Additive magic, like the wizards of old, he was gifted with the ability to work magic like no other. During one of the wars of the past with D'Hara, he was known as the "Wind of Death" and rightfully so; he even slew Panis Rahl upon the conclusion of that war. His great wit was and remains one of his most powerful weapons, allowing him to defeat adversary after adversary. This great wit passed down to his grandson, who is none other than Richard Rahl himself! Zedd named his grandson the Seeker and watched him grow, realizing that the gift had passed down the bloodline, as well as other traits. Ultimately, these factors, as well as the power of fate itself, led the a resounding victory against the Imperial Order. Zedd then returned to the Wizard's Keep in the Midlands, helping others learn the gift. However, nowadays he stays at the People's Palace, strengthening his magical prowess and basking in the timeless halls.
HP: 30,000,000
Mana: 55,000,000
Approximate Weapon Damage: N/A
Swing Timer: N/A
Phase 1:
Primary Cast: Zedd is always casting one of three primary spells, which can be interrupted. He ignores aggro:
Mystic Barrage:
Blasts a target with Additive magic, dealing 12000 Arcane damage. If there's any targets within 10 yards of the target, Mystic Barrage will strike two random nearby targets. Mystic Barrage will continue to damage like this in such a way until 15 targets are struck. Mystic Barrage cannot strike the same target twice. 2 second cast.
Frozen Line:
Sucks the heat out of the air using Additive magic, causing a wave of frost to erupt forth and strike a target and anyone else in the area of effect for 12000 Frost damage. The Frozen Line will go straight from Zedd towards the target and has a 15 yard width. Anyone struck by a Frozen Line will also be rooted in place for 5 seconds. 2 second cast.
Wizard's Fire:
Singes a target with Wizard's Fire, dealing 15000 Fire damage and dealing another 3000 Fire per 2 seconds for 12 seconds. If the target touches another target, they will also burn and take 3000 Fire per 2 seconds for 12 seconds. 2 second cast.
Secondary Cast: These are shown by a second cast bar that cannot be interrupted. Spells that are normally used through Primary Cast can also be cast through the second cast bar, though both the first and second cast abilities cannot strike the same target. Exclusive Secondary Casts are as follows:
Searing Circle:
Conjures five large flaming circles with radii of 8 yards after a 2 second delay (in which the Searing Circle locations are shown). These circles deal 4000 Fire damage per seconds to anyone caught in the circle. Moving in a circle will cause 20000 Fire damage, then you fly up and fall for 90% of your max health in falling damage. The target is then afflicted by Blistering Burn, causing 100000 Fire damage per second for 30 seconds that cannot be reduced by damage reduction effects or immunities. Searing Circles last 10 seconds. 30 second cast. Cannot be cast twice in a row.
Mass Deep Freeze:
Stuns the entire raid for 5 seconds, dealing 4000 Frost damage per second. After the stun, all targets are slowed by 50% for 10 seconds. 30 second cast. Cannot be cast twice in a row.
Arcane Storm:
Barrages the entire raid with Additive magic multiple times. Deals 1000 Arcane damage 10 times over 5 seconds. Each time targets are struck, they gain a stack of Broken Stability: which reduces healing effects on that target by 5% per stack for 10 seconds.
Other spells: These are spells that are instant cast, and therefore do not show up on either cast bar.
Mend Body:
Heals the caster for 2% of his maximum health every 3 seconds for 300 seconds. Must be dispelled.
Focused Power:
Using the abnormal strength of his gift, Zedd reduces the cast time of all primary spells by half for 20 seconds. Must be dispelled. If spell stolen, increases cast speed by 50%.
Mana Surge:
Restores 5% of Zedd's maximum mana every 2 seconds. Also prevents all spells Zedd casts from being fully resisted (though they can be partially resisted). This buff cannot be removed and is permanent.
Phase 2: At 10% health, his secondary cast spell will change to:
Wizard's Life Fire:
Instantly kills everyone, including the caster, dealing 10^100 Fire damage. This is an automatic wipe, and you will get no loot (he'll just respawn). This spell cannot be negated by any means. 30 second cast.
Hard Mode
To activate this Hard Mode, you have to go to the Royal Quarter Library and find the book of Wizard's Rules. You then have to recite it in Zedd's room to cause him to enter Hard Mode. This will also aggro him.
His primary spells and secondary spells become Empowered:
Mystic Assault:
Deals 20000 Arcane damage to the target. If there's target within 10 yards of the damaged target, Mystic Assault will strike up to two random targets for 20000 Arcane damage. Mystic Assault can damage up to 40 targets. Mystic Assault cannot strike the same target twice. 2 second cast.
Polar Wave:
Freezes the air by removing heat, causing a wave of frost to erupt forth and strike a target and anyone else in the area of effect for 20000 Frost damage. The Polar Wave will go straight from Zedd towards the target and has a 20 yard width. Anyone struck by a Polar Wave will also be stunned for 5 seconds. 2 second cast.
Wizard's Blaze:
Incinerates a target, dealing 22000 Fire damage and 4000 Fire damage every 2 seconds for 20 seconds. Touching another player while affected by Wizard's Blaze will cause that player to burn for 4000 Fire damage every 2 seconds for 20 seconds. 2 second cast.
Greater Searing Circle:
Summons seven Searing Circles instead of five. The spell also now lasts 12 seconds instead of 10. 30 second cast.
Mass Ice Tomb:
Stuns the entire raid for 5 seconds, dealing 4000 Frost damage per second. All targets are then rooted in place for 10 seconds and take 2000 Frost damage per second. 30 second cast.
Arcane Hurricane:
Deals 1000 Arcane damage per half second over 5 seconds to the raid. Each tick from this spell causes Broken Stability, reducing healing taken by 10% per stack and causing damage taken from Arcane Hurricane to be increased by 10% per stack for 10 seconds.
Zedd also gains 50% bonus health and mana due to this empowerment, making his health 45,000,000.

Intro:
-Welcome to my study. I am First Wizard Zeddicus Z'ul Zorander, but you may call me Zedd if you think it's too much of a mouthful for you *chuckles softly*. Are you here for a spell of sorts? You warriors seem like the type who can benefit from my enhancements...Wait a minute... you don't look like anyone I've ever seen before. You must be the invaders those blasted soldiers have been talking about...How fortunate of me...Finally I can do some long-awaited practice of my magic prowess...
Aggro:
-You honestly believe you can best a First Wizard? There's a reason I'm known as the wind of death!

Zedd: Hold! ... I can see clearly now...How did this happen?
Adie: <enters the room> You clearly been turned by the demons.
Zedd: Never! You know as well as I that I am-
Adie: Nonetheless you did. Where be Richard? We must stop him!
Zedd: Up in the Garden of Life I believe. Why?
Adie: He be trying to unleash the power of Orden.
Zedd: What would possess him to do such a blasted thing?
Adie: The demons be trying to use Orden for some twisted end of theirs...
Zedd: I...couldn't stop him if I tried...I'm too weak right now...Adie...who are these adventurers?
Adie: Champions of a distant world called Azeroth. They'll be relieving you of the duty of stopping your corrupted grandson. Do not worry.
Zedd: I...trust them. Very well 'adventurers.' But be careful, for he is, after all, the Seeker of Truth...

Boss Seventeen:
Nicci
<Death's Mistress>
Nicci is a former Sister of the Light. At a young age, she was always told not to use her gift by her mother. Nicci was born during the time when Brother Narev, who is known for being the practical founder of the Imperial Order was "at large." Nicci's mother shared the beliefs of the Imperial Order and passed on these beliefs to devastating effect. During the over 100 years of training to become a Sister of the Light and teaching aspiring wizards, Nicci never felt like she fulfilled anything, despite her abnormally great prowess with magic. To press this point home, she always wore a black dress after her mother's death. A long time after, her mentor took her to become a Sister of the Dark, amplifying her power further. Due to the influence of these evil sisters, Nicci was one of Richard's teachers at the Palace of the Prophets.
Eventually Nicci and several other Sisters of the Dark were captured by Emperor Jagang. Nicci was made to pretty much serve as the man's personal right hand in everything, including the Emperor's abuse. After some time, Nicci went on her own journey to capture Richard Rahl. She took him down to the Old World, subjugating him to her will by binding her life force to Kahlan's. During that time, Nicci tried to make Richard see and understand the beliefs of the Imperial Order. However, the plan completely backfired, and Nicci actually threw off those beliefs in favor of embracing life as Richard did, as she had been trying to do for many years.
Later on, while the Chainfire spell was in effect, Nicci became one of Richard's most trusted friends. Because of her love for him, she believed and helped Richard discover the truth about Kahlan. Eventually, Nicci also named Richard a player for the power of Orden and taught him the necessary spells to unleash that power. After the war, Nicci stayed at the People's Palace, helping with the spell that once surrounded the Palace of Prophets. After it was done, she occasionally joined Richard and Kahlan on their forays outside the palace. She remains a very close friend to them both.
HP: 26,500,000
Mana: 40,000,000
Berserk: 12 minutes
Approximate Weapon Damage: 35000-37500
Swing Timer: 2.0
Phase 1:
Aura of Energy:
Pure energy crackles in the air around Nicci, damaging the raid for 4500 Spellshadow (Shadow and Arcane) damage every 2 seconds.
Pulsing Shadow:
Afflicts the target with agonizing darkness, dealing 15000 Shadow damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. This is cast on the main target and can be decursed. Has a 50% dispel resistance.
Enveloping Shadows:
Shrouds the target in darkness, dealing 5000 Shadow damage periodically and stunning the target for 1 second. This can only happen up to 3 times. Lasts 10 seconds. Afflicts 3 targets at a time.
Dark Illumination:
Creates a circle of darkness in several areas (8 yard radius), dealing 2500 Shadow damage at 1st second, 5000 Shadow damage at the 2nd second, and 7500 Shadow damage per second for subsequent ticks. If a player takes 3 second's worth of damage from this ability, he or she is stunned for 1 second. Dark Illumination lasts 10 seconds. Damage can only be partially resisted.
Darkening Shroud:
Reduces healing taken by the target by 10%. Increases threat generated by the target by 20%. Stacks 10 times. At 10 stacks, the target is ripped apart by Subtractive magic, instantly killing him or her. Cast on the primary aggro target. If a player dies while affected by Darkening Shroud, Nicci is healed for 5% of her maximum health per stack. Lasts 60 seconds. Cast every 6 seconds.
Phase 2: Every 60 seconds, Nicci enters this second phase. She will levitate up in the air slightly and drop aggro. She will stop using all her spells except Aura of Energy and use new ones.
Shadowshine Lightning:
Blasts a target with lightning that is a mix of Subtractive and Additive magic, dealing 22000 Darklight (Shadow and Holy) damage to the target. Deals 50% of that damage to targets within 8 yards of that target. Can be partially resisted through Shadow resistance. Damaged targets lose 10% of their armor for 5 minutes. Stacks 10 times. 2 second cast.
Penance:
Heals Nicci for 250000 Health every 0.5 seconds over 1.5 seconds. 20 second cooldown.
Sorceress' Blaze:
Unlike other sorceresses, Nicci has the male Han, and therefore has a stronger Sorceress' Fire attack. This attack blasts a random target (besides the main aggro target) for 20000 Sunfire (Holy and Fire) damage and disorients the target and anyone within 15 yards of it for 5 seconds, dealing 4000 Sunfire damage per second.
Shield of Darkness:
Absorbs 30% of incoming damage until 500000 damage is absorbed. Increases casting speed by 25% while affected by the shield. Used at the beginning of the phase.
After 60 seconds of Phase 2 she transitions back to Phase 1 (with an aggro drop).
Hard Mode
Hard mode is activated by having one female character wear
Lovely Black Dress
into the room. The player can change back to normal gear during the aggro dialogue. (No this is not a joke.)
Nicci will gain 60% bonus health (42.4 M health) and she will gain the following:
Death's Gaze:
Increases all spell damage by 20%. Physical damage increased by 30%.
Darkening Shroud:
Now stacks every 5 seconds.
Dark Illumination:
Now deals its full damage (9000 Shadow per second) starting at the first tick and will stun every third tick rather than at just the third tick.
Penance:
Now heals 400000 per 0.5 seconds.
Shield of Darkness:
Now absorbs 50% of incoming damage and absorbs 800000 damage. Cast speed bonus remains at 25%.
She will also cast additional spells:
Phase 1:
Subtractive Affliction:
Afflicts a target with a deadly plague brought on by Subtractive magic, causing damage to them by removing them from existence. Deals 3000 Shadow damage per 3 seconds (already amplified). Each tick causes the debuff to deal 10% extra damage on the next tick. Touching another player will spread the plague (not make it jump like Unbound Plague), causing that player to have Subtractive Plague as well with the remaining duration, but reset the damage bonus. Will not reset the damage bonus if a player with Subtractive Affliction is touched. Lasts 30 seconds. Cast on 3 targets at a time.
Phase 2:
Blinding Light:
Blinds the entire raid, dealing 8000 Holy damage (already amplified) and reducing their chance to hit by 15% for 5 seconds. In addition, if a target that is disoriented is damaged by this, they take double damage. 2 second cast.

Jillian the Dreamweaver
<Priestess of Bones>
Jillian is part of a small group of people who could sow crops of dreams upon others. She is the last of her line, and her task was to assist Richard Rahl, whom she met during his excursion to the crypts of Caska (her hometown) to find a certain book. During the end of the war with the Imperial Order, that's what she did. Prior to that, however, she met Kahlan, who was quite under the effect of the Chainfire spell. Soon, they were both imprisoned, one after the other, by the Imperial Order. After a fight started by Richard, she managed to escape and set to her task of creating nightmares for the forces of the Imperial Order. These nightmares decimated morale among the troops and changed Jagang's personality to the point where it led to his demise. At present day, Jillian normally advises the Lord Rahl whenever she can, but she generally has free reign to do whatever she wants. She spends that time developing her power to weave dreams. Like Rachel, she's no longer a girl, but a woman.

Broken Bond:
With Lohkey dead, Jillian is vulnerable and takes 5% extra damage.
Nightmare Grip:
Jillian doesn't quite have the full grasp of conjuring nightmares. All enemies are slowed by 70% and have their attack and casting speeds reduced by 25%. Lasts 10 seconds. Can be magic dispelled.
Dream Fountain:
Conjures a geyser of thoughts at three random targets, knocking them into the air 3 seconds later and dealing 10000 Shadowstorm damage to each. They also take 40% of their maximum health as falling damage and lose 10% of their maximum mana, 50 Energy, 50 Rage, 50 Runic Power, or 50 Focus.
45 seconds after Lohkey dies, he resurrects.
Hard Mode:
If you Mind Control Jillian's Grandfather, who's in the back of the room, you will aggro Jillian and activate her Hard Mode (any form of Mind Control works).
Her Hard Mode is radically different. She gains 50% bonus health (34.5 M health)
Phase 1:
Jillian now calls Nightmares, which are significantly stronger than Dreams, and is capable of doing so in both phases:

Prelate Verna Sauventreen
Verna was a Sister of the Light at the Palace of Prophets. She was assigned to bring Richard Rahl there by the previous Prelate, Ann, for an obscure task that even Verna didn't know about. The pretense, however, was that Richard Rahl was a wizard who needed training. Over the time that Richard spent with Verna on their journey to and at the Palace, they became good friends. Eventually, Verna saw the logic of Richard's words, as he explained that imprisoning wizards and using physical pain was not the right way to train them. After Richard left the Palace, Ann faked her own death and left Verna in charge as the Prelate. Though she didn't really like the role at first, an ever-helpful Warren and a journey book left by Ann assisted her in overcoming the difficult task of being Prelate.
Eventually, after the destruction of the Palace of Prophets, she and the other free Sisters joined the D'Haran army. During her time with the army, she was wed with Warren, only to have him taken from her less than a year later. Verna then took her Sisters to the People's Palace after the Lord Rahl sent the D'Haran army to ravage the Old World, where they've more or less remained, even after the war. After the war, Verna helped create the enchantment of nigh never-ending life on the Palace. Nowadays, she sometimes visits Warren's grave, as well as the grave of the daughter that she outlived so many years ago.

FINAL BOSS
Richard Rahl and Kahlan Amnell
Seeker of Truth...Master of D'Hara...Caharin...These are but a few titles that Richard Rahl has gained on his long adventure.
It all began when he lived in Westland, a place in the New World devoid of magic. There he met Kahlan, and suddenly he was thrust into a quest that would test every fiber of his being. After being named the Seeker of Truth (and obtaining the sword that comes with the title) by Zedd, he journeyed with Kahlan through the Midlands. During the journey, Richard became very close with her, but it wasn't meant to be, as Kahlan eventually told him she was a Confessor, a woman able to take the will of anyone she touches and make it hers, though she must rest for a time afterward to recover that power.
Richard was then captured by a Mord-Sith by the name of Denna and tortured for about a month in order to give Darken Rahl information he's secreted away regarding the Boxes of Orden, a powerful set of objects that granted the player who used it properly absolute power. However, Richard had partitioned his mind, preventing the maddening torture from breaking him to Darken Rahl's will. Richard then slew his captor, though he forgave her, as it was not directly her fault for imprisoning him.
Meanwhile, Kahlan falsely learned of Richard's demise from Darken Rahl's allies and entered the Con Dar, a supernatural anger that only the strongest Confessors can invoke on behalf of someone they love. When in the Con Dar, a Confessor feels no remorse and can use her power infinitely. She then proceeded to go to the People's Palace and confronted the person she believed responsible for Richard's death, Darken Rahl. However, the Darken Rahl she encounters was actually Richard with a spell cast on him that made him look like the evil man. Kahlan used her power on Richard, but Richard was actually immune. However, he pretended to be under Kahlan's control and ultimately tricked Darken Rahl into opening the wrong Box of Orden and dying.
And so Richard and Kahlan's adventures became many. Richard went to the Palace of Prophets and journeyed across the Midlands and even through the Old World in his quest. He met many companions and adversaries on the way. Kahlan did much of the same as Richard. Unfortunately, the pair were frequently separated despite the fact they marry later on. One final division between them then greatly influenced the battle between the Old and New World.
Kahlan was abducted by renegade Sisters of the Dark and had the Chainfire spell used on her, making almost everyone forget about her. The Sisters then used her to steal the Boxes of Orden, as she was practically invisible. After the Boxes were put into play, all the Sisters and Kahlan were imprisoned by the Imperial Order and Kahlan was soon forced to be Emperor Jagang's "pet."
During this time, Richard, because he had the Sword of Truth, remembered Kahlan, though all his other companions did not. He spent much time attempting to convince them Kahlan was real. One of them, Nicci, believed him, despite her feelings towards him, and stood by his side as he finally found evidence of Kahlan's existence. Soon after, he was captured by a witch woman named Six, but he broke free of the charms she placed on him, only to be captured by the Imperial Order. Nicci placed the power of Orden in play under Richard's name during this time, so as to give hope.
It was then Richard met with Kahlan again. He eventually caused a massive riot to break out in the Imperial Order camp, which was now set upon the foot of the plateau where the People's Palace rested. Both of them (as well as other companions who were captured as well) managed to escape, though they were again separated. As part of a preliminary requirement to use the Boxes of Orden, he journeyed through the underworld then met with Kahlan and took her up to the People's Palace. Richard then "surrendered" to Jagang, but it was actually a trap, and Jagang was captured by Nicci (thanks to Jillian's nightmares).
The Sisters of the Dark who put the Boxes in play were then killed by the power of Orden, as opening the Boxes was no the correct method of using the power. Richard used the Sword of Truth to unlock the power of Orden and sent the Imperial Order to another world, a world without magic, thus making both groups of people happy. Kahlan was freed from Chainfire as well, and they spent the next couple decades enjoying life with each other...until now.

Adie: <walks through the door> It be about time you two came to your sense...This world was nearly lost...
Richard: I know...
Richard: This was all Nathan's doing. We can't stop him now...he's entrenched in that tower of his...
Richard: But we can stop the power of Orden from igniting...
Darken Rahl: <sinister laughter>
Richard: No...
Kahlan: It can't be!
Darken Rahl: Oh but it can, Mother Confessor. It's been a long time my son.
Darken Rahl: I'll just be taking these Boxes with me...It seems I'll have to finish the work myself, since you failed...
Richard: I won't let you!
Darken Rahl: Pity...<stuns everyone in the room> <grabs Boxes of Orden> I'll be at the Temple of Wind if you wish to face me...Don't expect to last long though.
<pause>
Richard: We can't let this happen. I'll start making preparations to go to the Temple of Wind. Kahlan, you must alert everyone!
Kahlan: I will.
Richard: Heroes, you must help me as well! I don't know what dangers Darken Rahl and this...Burning Legion, I believe it's called, will have waiting for us there.
Richard: Here, I will use a spell on you to be able to access the Temple of Wind directly in this world...but you're not of this world...are you.
Adie: That is of no consequence, I will handle that...
Richard: I will see you there then...

Wing Seven: The Prophet's Gaze
Bonus Boss Three:
Gratch
Gratch is a creature known as a "gar." Gars were created by wizards during a war long time past in order to defeat mriswith, invisible creatures created by opposing wizards. Their eyes are green and they relatively similar to gargoyles except far more muscular and strongly built. They also have many insects flying about them called "blood flies" which work with the gar to flush out prey. Gratch was a gar found when he was young by Richard. Richard decided to raise him, as he was on a miserable journey to the Palace of Prophets and soon they became good friends. However, after fighting off a mriswith invasion at Aydindril, the capital city of the Midlands, Gratch decided to rejoin his fellow gars for good, save one trip involving Rachel. Nowadays he's seen flying around D'Hara, occasionally meeting with Richard and Kahlan in the wilderness if they somehow cross paths.

Lifts an enemy 50 yards and drops them. During this time, Gratch will

Bonus Boss Four:
Nathan Rahl
<The Prophet>
Nathan Rahl is probably the oldest surviving Rahl, aging over 1000 years. Early in his life, he was taken to the Palace of Prophets, where the Sisters of the Light learned he had the calling of prophecy. Prophets were abnormally rare, and considered extremely dangerous. As a result, Nathan Rahl was imprisoned inside the deepest parts of the Palace for almost a 1000 years, with only the Sisters and Prelate Ann to keep him company. Though he likely resented this "house arrest," he didn't completely hate it. He worked with Ann to unravel numerous prophecies, including one involving Richard, which became the basis for much of came, including the invasion of the Imperial Order into the New World.
After the destruction of the Palace of Prophets, Nathan escaped and eventually managed to take refuge at the People's Palace, serving as a regent lord whenever Richard wasn't there to do so. He took Ann in and forgave her for her imprisonment. Together, they continued to examine prophecies until she was slain by Sisters of the Dark.
Since then, Nathan Rahl has gone mad, as he cared for Ann a lot (spending many many years with someone does that)
, and he was ultimately the reason...Well, we're getting ahead of ourselves.
HP: 50,000,000
Mana: 50,000,000
Berserk: 15 minutes
Approximate Weapon Damage: 58000-61000
Swing Timer: 2.0
Phase 1:
Shield of Prophecy:
Nathan Rahl can forsee any incoming attack, negating the damage using his mana pool. Consumes damage to mana at a 1:1 ratio.
Prophet's Flames:
With a thousand years of magical experience, Nathan Rahl has reached the epitome of spellcasting, improving his Wizard's Fire into a blaze called forth from the future. Deals 20000 Fire damage instantly, and another 20000 Fire damage 10 seconds later.
Deft Blade:
Nathan's swordsmanship, though only acquired a couple decades ago, has improved greatly. Successful dodges will increase Nathan's attack speed by 10% for 10 seconds. In addition, attacks ignore 20% of the target's armor.
Invoke Prophecy:
Nathan will use this every 30 seconds. He will call forth one of three prophecies and use it:
Prophecy of Firestorm:
Calls down a fiery meteor, dealing 100000 Fire damage to anyone directly under it and significantly less based on proximity.
Prophecy of Corruption:
Mind controls 1 player for 30 seconds. Damage and healing increased by 200%. Immune to crowd control but follows normal threat mechanics.
Prophecy of Power:
Creates three energy circles on the ground, which increase the damage of anyone standing in them by 50%. However, their resistances and armor are reduced to 0, their movement speed is reduced by 70%, and they take 1000 Shadow damage every second. Only one target can be affected by an energy circle at a time. Lasts 30 seconds.
Phase 2: Once all of Nathan's mana is burned, he will go to Phase 2. He continues to use all his abilities and uses new ones:
Fate's Shadow:
Shrouds the entire raid in darkness, dealing 5000 Shadow damage per second for 2 seconds to each player and any player within 5 yards of them. Each tick reduced healing taken by 25% for 5 seconds. 2 second cast.
Recall:
Teleports every player back to where they were 3 seconds ago.
Dark Void:
Nathan unleashes the shadowy corruption that has taken him upon 3 random players. Each Dark Void deals 6000 Shadow damage per second for 20 seconds in that area (8 yard radius).
Sap Soul:
Deals 10000 Shadow damage to the raid and heals based on the damage done (250000 health).
Sinister Future:
Nathan Rahl becomes invulnerable but cannot attack. He calls clones of each raid member with 900% the health of the original raid members. These clones deal 25% reduced damage. Though initially, each player must fight their own Sinister Future clone, defeating such a clone will allow him or her to help others kill their clones. Each slain clone will deal damage equal to 50% of its health to Nathan Rahl, as he uses his own life blood to sustain the illusion. Cast every 90 seconds in place of a Prophecy.
"Sound Files"

Adie: I knew I be finding you here.
Nathan: Impossible! I sealed this place with a web that only few others can break!
Adie: It doesn't matter how we be getting here. We be stopping your mad rule...
Nathan: Ah. Clever little witch...knowing that Richard is invoking Orden on MY behalf...
Adie: ...But why Nathan? What drove you to such madness?
Nathan: ...Ann...Ever since she died I never quite felt myself...
Adie: And I lost someone I loved dear too!
Nathan: You don't understand! I've been with her for 1000 years, expecting to be released because she cared about me...I knew she did...deep inside...Besides, you have Fredrich!
Adie: And you took him from me...handed him over to those demons! Why are you serving them Nathan...?
Nathan: Because I believe they can bring my Ann back...
Adie: Can't you see she's with the Creator now? She's watching over you...
Nathan: Enough of this foolishness. I will bring her back, and you and these...heroes you brought from another world...will not stop me!
Aggro:
Nathan: You dare to stand before one of the most dangerous men in the world...I envision a quick death for all of you...except you Adie. You will remain alive until you see all these heroes you brought suffer in agony!

Nathan: Burn in damnation! Feel my raging fires!
Prophecy of Firestorm:
Nathan: I foresee a massive fiery death before you, heroes!
Prophecy of Corruption:
Nathan: I foresee betrayal among you...
Prophecy of Power:
Nathan: I foresee mighty strength for you...but is it worth it?
Phase 2:
Nathan: What is this? Perhaps I was wrong to underestimate your strength...
Recall:
Nathan: Time to turn back the clock...
Sap Soul:
Nathan: Your life will feed me...
Sinister Future:
Nathan: See yourselves many years from now. See what you will become...
Slay:
Nathan: As predicted...
Nathan: You cannot escape your fate!
Nathan: You should've joined the winning side.
Defeat:
Nathan: I am not bested yet! You have made a foolish mistake, leaving the strongest people in the People's Palace alive. You even left Richard and Kahlan with their full vitality! Defeat them if you dare, they will easily slay you!
Adie: Ugh...
Adie: We must hurry! We cannot let the power of Orden be unleashed. Go! I will teleport you to the entrance of the Garden of Life with what strength I have left...

Normal Ending:
The portal began to dissipate as its energy became expended. Adie stepped forward towards it, then glanced back at Richard, who was now alone.
"There be one last thing to handle before you travel to the Temple of Winds." She said sternly.
"But the power of Orden threatens to doom us all!" Richard exclaimed, louder than he intended. He checked his scabbard to make sure the Sword of Truth was at the ready.
"That prophet could doom us all too. He nearly took over the entire People's Palace, had I not escaped." Adie retorted.
Richard glanced down at the verdant grassy floor of the garden. He couldn't deny that. It was indeed true that Nathan had almost sealed their fates. He reluctantly veered his gaze up at the tower overlooking the garden. It was only a recent addition from a few years past. He knew Nathan would be there, plotting his next move.
"Very well." Richard finally said. "We will take care of Nathan."
Adie looked up at Richard with the most serious expression he had ever seen her wear. "Try to make him see. We need his help too, if we are to survive." She stepped closer to the fading portal still. "You must do this..." Her voice echoed quietly as she began her trip back to where the adventures had come from, so she could explain what was to be done to the people there.
As soon as Adie vanished and the portal was nothing but empty space, Richard began to walk with a determined stride. He walked through the wide passageways of the Palace, which was in the shape of a spell form now devoted only to slowing time. Nearly 5 minutes later, he was at a conjoining hall, with stairs to a balcony to his right. He knew Nathan would be up those stairs, as his gift was showing him the path. Kahlan ran breathlessly from the left accompanied by Zedd, his grandfather, Nicci, and Jillian. Verna was running towards him from what he guessed would have to be the royal library: Verna was always there.
"We would've come sooner, but we had to recover." Verna said in a rather tired voice.
"It was amazing it was. Adventurers from another land, besting me in what I'm best at." Zedd said, trying to add some humor to the grim situation
"Why have you called us?" Nicci said. She seemed on the verge of collapse.
"What would the Lord Rahl have me do?" Jillian said, her eyes gleaming with the undying loyalty she had twenty years ago.
Richard glanced around. There was someone missing... Suddenly he heard footsteps behind him, and looked back to see Cara walking down the stairs with gleaming fierceness in her eyes.
"Don't think you're going to have all the fun." She said in a haughty voice.
"Of course not." Richard said calmly, hiding the embarassment of missing her on the way down from the Garden of Life.
Without prompting, Richard stepped over to the staircase to his right, but abruptly felt a barrier of power, no doubt left by Nathan to stop any intruders. He halted immediately, and gestured to the others, who approached cautiously. Richard held his hands out, reaching into the well of anger that he hadn't had to use much since long ago. Fortunately, unlike so many years ago, Richard could call upon his gift with ease. The barrier abruptly dispersed in a haze of yellow light expanding outward. The sound of breaking glass and a thunderclap roared through the hallway as the yellow light faded away.
"Come with me." Richard said, beckoning.
The group of six rushed up the stairs, intent on stopping Nathan so they could reach the Temple of Wind in time to meet with Adie. After reaching several small landings, the stairs opened up to a balcony overlooking the Azrith Plains. At the other end, Richard could faintly see another hallway at the other end of the rampart, as well as a tower looming over them.
The sun was setting in the sky, bathing the balcony in an orange light as the six left figures silhouetted the glass roof atop the Garden of Life.
At last they reached the hallway leading to another set of stairs, this time one winding up and up. Richard took the lead, with Kahlan and the others following close behind.
Several tense minutes later, Richard came up to a door, breathing hard from the exertions of running up flights of stairs. He shoved open the door with the strength of his physique and gift alike, shattering the magical locks on the door. The door burst violently in as planks scattered all over the inside of the circular room, which was large enough to hold devotions at least.
A man in light-blue robes sat at the opposite side of the room in an apparently brooding mood, gazing lifelessly out the window. At the sound of the door being smashed in, he turned around. His cold blue eyes stared into Richard's gray ones, searching for any hint of emotion. Anger emanated from Richard as he finally spoke.
"Nathan...What have you done?"
"I did what I thought was right." said Nathan, in a clearly distraught voice. He immediately gained his composure.
"What do you mean by 'right?'" Richard said, letting rage fill his voice.
"You would not understand." Nathan said softly. "You don't have the centuries of experience. You haven't lived for over a millennium!"
"What does that have to do with anything?" Richard inquired.
"It doesn't matter. I'm going to make sure you can't be broken from my control so easily." Nathan raised his hand and a dark glow emanated along his body.
Richard drew the Sword of Truth, the smooth sound of the blade hissing out of the scabbard rang through the room. Nathan's hands began to crackle more furiously and finally, a ray of dark light blasted out as he held out his right hand, directing it at Richard. Richard was prepared this time, and instead of blocking the ray with his sword, he thrust into the darkness, deflecting it into the walls to both sides of him.
Nathan, clearly drained of energy, fell to his knee, a look on his face like he couldn't believe this was happening.
Kahlan, who was behind Richard, rush out to touch him, to make him hers, but Richard stopped him. He walked up to the prophet.
"Please just explain Nathan. I don't want to kill you. You are a good friend to us all. I want to know why you betrayed us..." Richard said in a calming tone.
"Very well." Nathan said. "It's pretty clear the numbers are not in my favor anyways. I probably deserve to die for what I did anyways..."
Nathan took a deep breath and stood up. "It was because of Ann...You know the horrible fate that she faced at the near the end of that wretched war 20 years ago. I loved her, and I knew she had feelings for me too. I wanted to confess that I did and then she was taken from me...A person I shared over a thousand years with... Then just some time ago, a man who I knew was not a man came to me and promised to give me Ann back if I just gave him what I wanted... The temptation was too great... I am a fool." Nathan hung his head, shamefully, as if waiting to be executed.
Richard listened intently, as did the others, who also quietly filed into the room and stood at a distance. He realized Nathan was baring his soul to him, and was telling the truth. As much as it disgusted him what the man before him had done, he could understand to a point what Nathan did, he probably would go such lengths if he lost Kahlan... Richard stared down at his blade, it had turned white, and it confirmed everything he could glean from Nathan's story.
Richard sighed, then sheathed his sword. He gestured for Nathan to get up. The prophet obliged, trying to regain his composure.
"I may not completely understand why you did this Nathan, but I forgive you. However, you must do something for me...for all of us." Richard said.
"What is it you want from this poor, broken man?" Nathan responded.
Richard glared at him. "You're not a poor, broken man. You will be soon, like myself, if nothing is done. Come with me Nathan. Come to the Temple of Wind with me...We have to stop Darken Rahl and the Burning Legion. Together we can save this world with the help of the adventurers Adie brought." He said, making sure everyone could hear him.
"Very well." Nathan said, hesitating slightly. "I need to apologize to Adie anyways...All the sooner if I come with you..."
Second Ending (Sanctity of Life Achievement)
Adie began to step towards the portal, glad she managed to bring a moment of peace back to D'Hara and redeem Nathan. It would be the verdict of those he took control of as to whether he should face punishment.
"Wait." Nathan said.
Adie turned back, trying to keep her face devoid of emotion.
"I was a fool...I deserve any punishment I deserve. I just wanted you to know that." Nathan said in a tone of acceptance.
Adie turned away, blinking back tears with her eyes that now grant true sight, something she hadn't had for so long... She stepping into the portal and turned again.
"I forgive you Nathan. A bigger issue be at hand, and I trust that you will make sure this world will not fall." Adie said. She vanished with the shining lights of the portal as she began her journey back...
Nathan stood for a brief moment, looking at the spot Adie was at moments before. It felt like a fate repeated once again. He breathed a sigh, then began weaving magic, powerful magic, with the aid of his gift. Soon, violent rays of light emitted from his body, ripping him with the agony of all those who had fallen to stop his madness. Nearly ten minutes later, the light ceased, and the palace appeared to erupt with life. Richard, Kahlan, Nicci, Verna, Zedd, and Cara all began to get up slowly, disoriented by the recent battle.
Richard soon realized who was standing near the altar. He leaped to his feet and drew his Sword of Truth. He didn't know why, but his will was his. He had to kill Nathan before he could claim them all again. Nathan only looked calm, as if his fate was already sealed, but Richard didn't care, he had to end the man's life.
The sword stopped dead, inches from Nathan's heart... Something is wrong, Richard thought to himself. Moments later, comprehension dawned on him.
"You have remorse for your deeds." Richard said plainly. He knew it was true.
"We don't have time for this Richard. The Burning Legion may no longer have a hold on me, but they have the boxes! Darken Rahl took them to the Temple of Wind" Nathan said, his face contorting in panic. Richard's panic was soon mirrored as he realized what that would mean.
The others in the Garden of Life were listening intently, in a knowing sort of way. They knew what to do, but it was Richard's choice that would dictate it all.
Richard reluctantly sheathed his sword. He knew what he must do and he just had to trust Nathan on this. After all, something had to have changed in Nathan to prevent the sword from touching him.
"Marshal the troops." Richard said in a commanding tone. Something he has rarely ever done. "We must set out to the Temple of Wind and stop the Burning Legion."
"Adie will also contribute some assistance. She has met powerful adventurers who saved us all so far." Nathan said.
Richard only nodded, then paced out of the Garden of Life. Nathan followed, then everyone else.
