Deadly Boss Mods
KTM Threat Meter or Omen?
Tank Master(y?)
And I think there's an addon called Lucky Charms that'll help mark mobs.

Pretty raid frames are always a good thing for tanks to have. Healbot or Grid would do in that department. It would also allow you to easily cast spells on various raid members without panicky target switches.

I do also use heal bot. I just never though of using it for anything other than healing, and now that you mention using it as such I feel a little foolish to not have thought of that. What about an addon for displaying CD timers and managing all the judgements, buffs, etc.
I think pally power does the last part, although I haven't personally used it yet.

Tauntmaster is one I use... it's basically a threat meter plus a automatic taunt-organizer.. without target changing it'll let you taunt whatever mob off of someone who's pulled aggro... hard for me to word, but INSANELY useful.. look it up on wowinterface.

u dont need no tank addons...
Just like you don't
NEED
to change gears in a car to drive it 1st will get the job done fine, yet everyone still changes gears... wonder why that is?
As the rest of the people here said these are the basic things that you may find helpful
A what the hell is going on here addon
Customized battle text
Raid frames
Action bar addon (allows for a cleaner ui)
Threat meter
Click based macro addons (clique)
Damage meter, because everyone needs to vent at the !@#$ty dps every now and then in heroics =P (yes incase that was missed it was more a joke but i still find them useful)
Of that list my personal preference for tanking is as follows
DBM
Mik Scrolling Battle text
X-pearl
and or
grid
(i alternate)
Bartender 4
+
Button facade
Omen
Clique
Recount

I got CLCret because I heard it was useful and could show trinket ICD's and such, havn't been bothered to work out how that works, but I discovered it provides you with a 696969 rotation ._.
If you have trouble with your rotation, it might help.

I use to run around with
Protection Is Surprisingly Stupendous
but since I ret just as much as I prot I went with clcret. Protection Is Surprisingly Stupendous does the job a little bit better but they basically work the same way.
Edit: I guess Protection Is Surprisingly Stupendous should'nt be abbreviated.

Omen is nice to have so that you can hit someone with Blessing of Salvation and lower their threat, and Grid+clique or healbot makes that occurance easier to handle.

IMO DBM is the least useful of all addons you can have on a tank. If you need DBM and are tanking you need to learn the fight better before you step back into that boss' line of sight.
Edit: My pulle sense is ALWAYS tingling. He is still here...watching us...I know it...
