Well, I did a search on the US armory and found 5 or 6 guilds named Wowhead, after checking them all out I found they had 1 maybey 2 people in them....
In conclusion I think that there are no Wowhead guilds in the US World of Warcraft.
Of course anyone ambitious enough to see if there is any in the world could do the same thing on all of the other armory's.

It was a US guild, and the search of the guild name, <
Wowhead Or Bust
>, shows only Stormreaver, and it's not looking good.
I know it was good at first; the guild was thriving in the leveling process. That was before the guild leader just disappeared on the Wowhead forums, though.
I'd attempt it on my realm if anyone would join. I don't think people would join after that last one, though.
Edit: If anyone's interested, send an email with "Wowhead" in the title to my email (VJTD3x 'at' gmail 'dot' com) or just tell me here. Don't provide any information. I'll take the initiative if people (10+) care enough to do it, and I'll stick with it.
Edit2: We need some function for private messaging here...

I'm a member of this guild. It was good at the beginning but then the GL disappeared and that's when people started to disappear. We had about 100 toons at one point.
One of the rules for creating the guild was that you couldn't have a toon on that server and no DKs were allowed. It was for starting new toons, on a new server as if you were starting the game for the first time.
I quit playing my toon because I got bored with the leveling process and went back to my main server.

There was never an officially sanctioned Wowhead guild of any kind. A bunch of us were all in one guild for a while, but it was never public or official.
That having been said, I'm 100% behind it if you guys want to get together a guild from our forum regulars here. :)

Actually, I was the original guild leader. It was all my planning and organization. About two weeks after getting it set up I took over a new store and had to dedicate time to work, and had to relinquish my role as guild leader. Wowhead or Bust, stormreaver. It was awesome until I had to quit. THen the guild died...

-_- You were on regularly for like...3 days...then showed up twice more over the next 2 weeks.
Regardless, we did well until about 5-6 people hit 80. There was some guild drama, then a bunch of people left. I attribute that mainly to the fact that there was no universally regarded leadership or hierarchy.
If someone wants to do something similar, make sure you a) have the time to dedicate to lead and manage up to 50 people and b) have a high enough charisma to pass most your checks.

Aye.
Make sure its fair to everyone, and very well communicated in every terms of whats going to happen and when and where etc.
I thought fredzilla was respected by everone rebel?

The problem was fredzilla didn't get the necessary power until it was too late. By that time most people had already left.

Sounds neat. I'd be willing to participate, to a degree, at least.

I would come (on a DK yes lol, but I do know how to play a DK). Although we need a server to make it on, not just "We'll make it on my server." Which server is that? So lets establish a guild on a lower population realm, and perhaps have the characters as your forum name, or put your forum name in the guild status.

He was respected, but he had no drive at the time. Several fights broke out in guild chat over the course of the last days I was there and I saw no intervention on his part.

I vote for Lightbringer Server, Alliance Side. since that's where all my 80's are. Other bonuses are that it's a server that's been around since launch, and is a very high pop (top 10).

I personally like the idea of starting on a server no one has any alts on, and no DK's.
That's just me though. I don't think I'd really have the time to participate anyway.
