Leveling specs do not serve the same purpose as endgame specs,
PvP specs use different talents than raid specs, or grinding specs,
Yes, that spec has been tried and quickly discarded by thousands of other warlocks,
Felguard and UA builds are both excellent in Outland,
Yes, we're overpowered. I solo BT nightly. Illidan is my bitch,
There is not a single "perfect" warlock spec,
shadow >>> fire,
(41/7/11 +2) or (5/43/11 +2),
1/5 Shadow Embrace,
Suppression only affects your dots,
Improved Corruption, Dark Pact, Soul Link, Felguard, Bane, and Shadowburn are even better than they look,
Ruin is a PvE talent and requires a lot of gear to be better than Unstable Affliction,
Your highest level talent in Affliction should be one of the following: Improved Corruption, Improved Life Tap, Nightfall, Siphon Life, Unstable Affliction,
Your highest level talent in Demonology should be one of the following: Demonic Embrace, Demonic Sacrifice, Soul Link, or Felguard,
Your highest level talent in Destruction should be one of the following: Shadowburn, Destructive Reach, Ruin, Shadow and Flame, Shadowfury.

Dot dot fear wand... Dot dot fear wand
Dot dot drain... Dot dot drain
For some reason, most people can't tell the difference between a Soulwell and a Doom Portal
Use their ignorance for evil
Abuse Shadowburn
Use Death Coil to take control of the fight
You can stop a feared mob from running into other mobs and bringing friends back by using Curse of Recklessness
You can then throw that same mob in an entirely new direction by replacing Curse of Recklessness if there is still time on the fear
Treeform druids can be banished
Detect Inivisibility does not help against stealth
Detect Invisibility and Underwater Breathing provide cushion to protect your important buffs from dispels
Dropping an Infernal on a rogue's head while shouting "Cloak of Shadows THIS!" doesn't always work, but it is cathartic
Paladin bubbled? Mage Ice Blocked? Call your pet back, and the moment their defense is gone, Intercept
Don't use Intercept frivolously at the start of a fight. Use it to end one
Curse of Weakness, Siphon Life, Corruption - hunter's pets are so nice for giving your back a scratch while providing free instant shadow bolts
If the hunter falls down and his pet doesn't leave, he's not really dead
25% crit with talents for a deep destro build, because you want ISB up constantly
Generally speaking, spell hit (to 202) = spell damage >>> spell crit
Veiled Noble Topaz to the hit cap, then Runed Living Ruby
Never give up very much spell damage for ANYTHING in PvE
SL/SL is not a leveling spec. It is not a grinding spec
The Blessings Deck will give you Darkmoon Card: Crusade. This trinket will last you through Black Temple
Frozen Shadoweave. Spellstrike. S1 Spellblade. Vindicator's Silk Cuffs. You don't need badges or lucky drops to get some outstanding gear

Add to the list:
You can have multiple "ranks" of healthstone via talents, improved healthstone 0/2, 1/2 and 2/2
Don't give healthstones to feral druid tanks they cant use em while shapeshifted
Fel Armor is better then Demon Armor
If your dots are getting dispelled in Arena, Use rank 1's
If they ask nicely and get 2 other people, summon em, if they are jerks summon them...but off a cliff
If your pet kills the mob, you get no lootz
This thread is full of win

Rank 1 Drain Soul allows you to regain mana with the Improved Drain Soul Talent
Rank 1 Curse of Recklessness keeps mobs from fleeing
Killing yourself with Hellfire does not incur a loss of durability
This allows you to suicide during a wipe without penalty
This allows you to get through locked doorways blocking entry to instances (the Hellfire key) such as SM armory, SM Cathedral, Scholomance, and most DM instances
Fear counts as an affliction effect for Soul Siphon
So does the horror effect of Death Coil and Howl of Terror
Mobs that reflect spells back at you can be turned to your advantage:
Reflecting Curse of Recklessness at yourself makes you immune to fear for the duration
Reflecting Siphon Life or Drain Life back at yourself with Fel Armor active will heal you
Drain Life or Corruption reflected onto yourself can still proc Nightfall
Curse of Doom. Banish 30 seconds. Banish 20 seconds. Repeat.
Curse of Shadows reduces the chance of Fear or Seduction breaking
Searing Pain. Curse of Shadows. Seduction. The mob will now come for you when the CC breaks, allowing your succubus to cast again without interruption and maintain control in difficult instance fights
Take a hint from the hunters: when you have to CC in an instance, make sure to pull your mob off to the side someplace safe so the tank doesn't have to restrain himself from using AOE to build aggro
Maintain distance from your succubus or felguard when you suspect you are being stalked by a rogue or feral druid
Placing your felhunter on the stairs leading up to the top of an AV tower or bunker allows you to see any stealthers coming long before they can attack you
Banish other warlock's pets, as well as shaman and mage elementals
Especially when they're using them while grinding on a PvP server
Casting fear on the mobs they're attacking can be fun, too
Fear and Seduction share the same diminishing returns
Enslave Demon can be very useful in Outland. Many of the demons there are more effective than your pets
A new one I've read about but haven't tried, for quick repair runs at an instance (if it works, should work from the inside come 2.4). Cast a Ritual of Summoning for yourself, then hearth. When you've finished repairing, you should be able to accept the summons back to the instance.

Thought of some more:
People will confuse you with a mage and ask for food and water, you will learn to hate these people
You will understand why mages also hate these people and will be nice to them when getting water
Other players will think your pet can tank instances
If you spot a rogue early and hes near, use shadowburn then dot ( he has to blow his vanish and his CloS cooldowns to stay in stealth)
Affliction till lvl 56 then Felguard till 70..then affliction again untill you get the gear for destro

Well, its been a week so I'll yank this back to the top.
- Don't forget about Shadow Ward
- Don't forget to pop your damage trinkets
- Don't forget about your Netherweave Nets
- Don't forget about your Spellstone
- Don't forget about your Healthstone
- Don't forget about your Firestone
- That was a joke, as we all wish we could forget about Firestones
- Bring a bag of soul shards to any level 70 instance
- Especially if you're in a PUG
- Turn of your Felguard's Anguish in PvP and instances (unless you need him to offtank)
- Set your imp to passive
- Set your succubus to passive
- Manually control your felhunter's devour magic and spell lock
- Have focus macros for all your CC abilities
- Learn to drain tank
- If an elite mob can be kited or feared, it can be killed by an Affliction warlock
